Lost Job

Recently I lost my job and need prayer. I'm very depressed and didn't see it coming since I am a good worker and got along with everyone (although the job itself I hated/sold furniture). Not sure what God's plans for me are and not sure what path to take. Also, I am worried about my finances (have rent, student loans, utilities, and two dogs to take care of) and the hit being terminated will take on my work history (which until now has been great).

Dear Lord,

Let Your perfect will be done in this life. Help this person to take this opportunity to open Your Word and seek Your will. To spend some dedicated time meditating on the Truths that You have given us so freely. To pray for understanding every time they open it and then to receive the rich guidance and wisdom from it, and also in that process to receive Your peace that passes all understanding. Lord, by feasting on Your Word and its Truth, that the depression will lift, that it will actually be crowded out by the presence of the Light of the Holy Spirit ministering to them, saying, "Fear Not, Seek Me, Serve Me -- I've got something much better in store for you!"

In Jesus Name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, You turn everything into good for those that love You, even things that seem hard to take at first sight, You turn them eventually into a new opportunity for our life. I pray this person believes everything will turn out for the better because You are there. I pray for a new job opportunity to come soon and I pray this person will be blessed. Help this person grow in You and draw this person close to You in this difficult time. In ask in Jesus Name. Amen
