Loss Of A Loved One

A very close friend of mine of three years had been struggling with clinical depression, and took his life a week ago. I was devestated with the news but I know God will heal my heart. My prayer, concern is over his family, his two kids, and his soul. I pray for him to be with the Lord but I having a hard time with all of this. I have been trying to make peace with all of this and know in time i will come to terms. Please pray for - John - and his family, parents, and two kids, and for me.

God understands all. He knows that your friend was ill, and He will not hold that against him. We serve a God who is love.

Father God, I pray for the family and friends of John. Bless them with your peace as they struggle with their grief. You, Father have promised to be close to the broken hearted, and I claim this for his family, his friends. I ask that you meet all of the needs of his family. Bless them Lord, with your loving presence, your peace.

Father, you know the circumstances and hidden things that caused this friend to take his life. We ask, in Jesus name to give the family and his friends, peace, God's peace which transcends all understanding. Let there be healing, understanding and provision provided for this family. A wall of protection that blocks the enemy's deception and lies. In Jesus name, we speak comfort to this family, wrap them up in your arms of love and let them know, everything is going to be okay.

Heavenly Father,

Comfort your daughter during this tough time. We lift the family to you as well, heal the parents and may they feel your comfort. Hide the two children under your wings and be their father for your word says

Psalm 68:5 A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling

I pray you hold those children in your hands, please let them feel your love, let them never lack anything. Provide for their needs and draw them to you heavenly Father.

Lord, your comfort and grace is more than enough to help the parents and your daughter to pull through. I pray you give her your peace and grace right now, minister to her and draw her closer to you during this time. Minister to her for you are the source of life

John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

May she and the family see your grace and praise you for taking them through a difficult time.

Father, I lift John's family to you. This is a terrible loose to them. I can't imagine what they are going through. Lord, my Prayer is that John knew You before this occurred. It is a terrible thing for anybody to slip out into eternity not knowing the Lord Jesus Christ. God Forbid!! It so important for us to make sure we tell others about our Lord.
