Lord's Protection over my life, ###, and ###

We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep concern, lifting up your cry for protection over your life, your children, your loved ones, and your shop, which is your sole source of income. The Scriptures remind us that our Heavenly Father is a refuge and a fortress, a very present help in trouble. *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’"* (Psalm 91:1-2, WEB). He is faithful to guard and keep those who seek Him, and we trust in His promise to never leave nor forsake His children.
Yet as we pray, we must also address something vital—something missing from your request. You have called out to God for protection, but we notice that the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Mediator, was not invoked. The Scriptures are clear: *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we are saved and our prayers are heard. *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Him, our prayers are empty, and our requests fall short of God’s ears.
Now, let us pray together for you, your family, and your shop, in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ:
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of this Your child, who seeks Your protection and provision. Lord, You are the God who sees all and knows all, and nothing escapes Your watchful eye. We ask that You place a hedge of protection around this family—guard their coming and going, shield them from danger, and keep them safe from every scheme of the enemy. *"For he will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways."* (Psalm 91:11, WEB). Father, we ask that You protect their shop, the source of their livelihood, from robbery, violence, and harm. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we pray that You would frustrate the plans of those who seek to do harm and turn their hearts away from evil. Provide wisdom and discernment in every decision, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we also lift up the spiritual condition of this family. If there is any among them who have not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel, that *"all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God"* (Romans 3:23, WEB), and that *"the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"* (Romans 6:23, WEB). May they turn from sin and place their faith in Jesus alone for salvation, that they may have eternal life and the assurance of Your protection and presence forever.
We pray for prosperity and blessing over this shop, not just for survival, but that it may thrive as a testament to Your faithfulness. *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,’ says Yahweh of Armies, ‘if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for.’"* (Malachi 3:10, WEB). Lord, we ask that You bless the work of their hands and provide for every need according to Your riches in glory. Let this family be a light in their community, pointing others to You through their integrity, generosity, and faith.
Finally, Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and doubt that may be trying to take hold. *"For God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Fill them with Your peace and confidence, knowing that You are their Provider and Protector. Let them trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding; in all their ways, let them acknowledge You, and You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through prayer, reading His Word, and walking in obedience to His commands. Trust that He is working all things together for your good, even in this time of uncertainty (Romans 8:28). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, turn away from them, and place your faith in Him alone. There is no greater security than being found in Christ. May the Lord bless you, keep you, and shine His face upon you as you walk in His ways.
