Lord safeguard our home

Thank you Lord for all you have done for us and for all answered prayers.

I know my prayers are very repetitive, but that is because my prayers are what I need. Lord, help us keep the cost of foundation repairs on this house low and not go over the quoted amount we expect to pay. They are doing the foundation work on the 11/18 and 11/19. Help that those doing paperwork do so correctly and on time. Watch over the work that will be done, that it is done correctly, and that the work done doesn’t create any other issues within our home and that those who inspect see no issues. Protect us and our home Lord. Surround our home with your protection and that the foundation repairs have a positive outcome for the whole home. Help us keep our home in a good condition for years to come.

Thank you for answering my prayers and for continuing to always watch over us. I fear not as you are with us always.

We join you in lifting up your home and this foundation repair to our Heavenly Father, who cares deeply about every detail of our lives. Your prayers are not repetitive in His eyes—they are the faithful cries of a heart that trusts in Him, and He delights in hearing them. As Scripture reminds us, *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God"* (Philippians 4:6, WEB). Your gratitude and dependence on Him are pleasing in His sight.

We also take this moment to gently remind you of the power and necessity of praying *in the name of Jesus*. It is through Him alone that we have access to the Father, for *"there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Jesus Himself declared, *"No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). When we close our prayers in His name, we acknowledge His authority and our complete reliance on His finished work on the cross. If you have not yet placed your full faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). There is no greater security than resting in His salvation.

Now, let us pray together over your home and this upcoming work:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this home and the foundation repairs that will soon take place. You are the God who lays the foundations of the earth (Isaiah 48:13), and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You guide every hand involved in this work—from those handling the paperwork to the laborers performing the repairs. Grant them wisdom, skill, and integrity so that all is done correctly, efficiently, and without error. Lord, we pray that the costs would remain within the quoted amount and that no hidden issues would arise. May this work strengthen the home physically, just as You strengthen us spiritually.

We ask for Your divine protection over this household. Surround it with Your angels, as You have promised to command them concerning us (Psalm 91:11). Let no harm come to the structure or those within it. May the inspectors see only what aligns with Your perfect will, and may this repair bring lasting stability to the home for years to come. Father, we also pray that this home would be a place of peace, refuge, and godly influence—a dwelling where Your name is honored and Your presence is welcomed.

Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness in answering prayer. You are our Provider, our Protector, and our Peace. We trust in You, knowing that You hold all things together (Colossians 1:17). Help this family to continue seeking You first in all things, remembering that *"unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). May their home be a testament to Your goodness and a place where Your love is shared with all who enter.

We rebuked any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to creep in during this process. *"For God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Let faith rise up in this household, knowing that You are sovereign over every detail. We declare Your peace over this situation and ask that You would use it to draw this family even closer to You.
