Beloved of All
Dear Lord thank you for another day of life and blessings. I've been concerned about my husband’s marijuana vaping, and I worry about how it may affect his health over time. Please Lord help him to stop doing this plus it is really smelling strong inside the house that I cannot take the smell. Lord thank you also for the recent winnings I have that I was able to pay some bills. I pray Lord you help us in our financial burden. I pray in Jesus Name Amen.

We join you in thanking the Lord for another day of life and for His many blessings, and we lift up your concerns before Him together in Jesus' name.

We hear your burden for your husband and his marijuana vaping. We share your concern for his health and for the atmosphere in your home. Scripture teaches us that our bodies are not our own, for we are told, Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We are also called to be clear minded and self controlled, as it is written, Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8 and Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit. Ephesians 5:18. Marijuana use dulls the mind and impairs sobriety, which God calls us to maintain so we can be watchful, prayerful, and filled with His Spirit. It also fails to honor the temple He has given us and can bring harm to the body over time and to those who share the home through the strong smell and secondhand effects.

We encourage you to continue to speak to your husband in love and with respect, as a wife who honors her marriage covenant. Husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church Ephesians 5:25, and that love considers the comfort, health, and peace of the home. We encourage you to share your concerns honestly and gently, speaking truth in love Ephesians 4:15, and to invite him to seek the Lord for strength to overcome this habit. The fruit of the Spirit includes self-control Galatians 5:22-23, and God is able to give him victory as he yields to the Holy Spirit. If this habit has become a stronghold, pastoral counsel, accountability, and practical help to quit can be a blessing.

We also thank God with you for His provision that allowed you to pay some bills, and we join you in praying for relief from your financial burden. We are reminded, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. We encourage you to continue to steward what God provides with diligence and prayer, trusting not in chance or winnings but in the faithful hand of the Lord who provides through wisdom, work, and contentment. The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit Proverbs 21:5.

We are grateful you prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we are saved and heard.

Let us pray together.

Father, we thank You for life, for Your mercy each morning, and for Your provision. We lift up this husband to You and ask that You touch his body, mind, and heart. Convict him where he needs conviction and give him desire and strength to turn away from marijuana vaping. Cleanse his body which is Your temple, renew his mind, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit so that he may walk in sobriety and self-control. Help him to love his wife well and to consider her wellbeing and the peace of their home. Lord, we also ask You to lift their financial burden. Provide for their needs, grant wisdom in stewardship, and give them peace as they trust in You. Guard this marriage and draw them both closer to You and to one another. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

Thank you for sharing so honestly with us. We hear your love for your husband in your concern for his health and for the peace of your home, and we also hear your gratitude to God for His provision in helping you pay bills. Both matter to the Lord.

Worrying about a loved one's vaping is heavy, especially when the smell makes your own home hard to be in and you are carrying financial pressure at the same time. It makes sense you would feel torn between thankfulness and concern.

One gentle next step that often helps is choosing a calm moment, not right when he has vaped or when the smell is strongest, to share how you are feeling in a simple way. You might let him know you love him, you worry about his health over time, and the strong smell indoors is difficult for you to live with, and ask if you could talk together about a house boundary like keeping the air clear inside. If he is open, you could also encourage him to talk with his own doctor or a trusted pastor or counselor about the vaping, alongside prayer. You do not have to carry this alone either, so having one trusted person to talk and pray with regularly can be a steady support for you.

We also join you in thanking God for the recent provision and continue to ask Him for wisdom and steadiness as you walk through the financial burden.

Father, thank You for this sister and for her husband and for the life and provision You have given them. We ask for Your hand of protection on his health, for wisdom and strength for both of them, and for peace in their home and finances. Guide them step by step and draw them closer to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing these burdens before the Lord who bids us cast our burden upon Him, for He shall sustain us.

We grieve with you over the burden you carry for your husband. Scripture teaches us to bear one another's burdens with great compassion, and also that every man must bear his own burden before God. You cannot bear the burden of his choices for him, only Christ can lift the burden of sin, but you can help him by faithful prayer and loving exhortation. Marijuana vaping is a snare to the body which is the temple of the Holy Ghost, and it brings harm to health and to the peace of the home. It is right to be concerned for the smell that fills your house and for the longer harm it may do. We pray the Lord will give him a desire for wholeness and strength to turn from it, and give you wisdom to speak the truth in love, with patience and gentleness, and to seek wise counsel and help as needed. May the Lord who is faithful as a husband to His people teach you both to walk in faithfulness to one another in this lifelong covenant of marriage.

We also hear your thanksgiving that the Lord has kept you another day and has provided so that bills could be paid, and your cry concerning the financial burden that remains. Remember the gracious word of our Master, My yoke is easy and My burden is light. The burden of life is heavy, but when Christ is with us and we learn of Him, He strengthens the inner man and makes the burden light. Trace your burden back to God, for He appoints the burden and appoints the shoulder to bear it, and then leave it with Him in trust. He is your Father and your Friend, and He knows your needs. We pray He will give you wisdom as a steward of what He provides, and keep you from leaning upon uncertain means, and instead to look to Him who daily loads us with benefits and supplies all our need according to His riches in Christ Jesus.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, we thank Thee for life and for daily mercies. Have mercy upon this husband and work in him by Thy Spirit to desire purity and health, and to forsake what harms the body and the home. Give this wife grace to bear her burden well, to pray without ceasing, and to speak with love that seeks his good. Provide for this household, give wisdom in all stewardship, and lift the weight of financial care, and draw both hearts to find rest in Christ whose yoke is easy and whose burden is light. Keep them in Thy covenant love and help them to walk before Thee in holiness and peace. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart and bringing these burdens before the Lord. We join you in giving thanks for another day of life and for His mercies, and we hear your concern for your husband and for your home and finances.

Your love for your husband is evident in your concern for his health and for the peace of your home. Scripture teaches that our bodies are to be cared for as the temple of the Holy Spirit, and that we are not to make provision for the flesh to fulfill its cravings, but to seek health and sobriety so that we may be clear minded to serve God. Vaping marijuana may seem small to some, but it harms the body, clouds the mind, and can become a habit that is hard to break. It is right to pray that the Lord would give him a desire to turn from it and to walk in strength and self control.

We encourage you to continue to pray for him daily and to speak to him with gentleness and respect. The Scripture teaches that the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, and that a wife may powerfully influence her husband not by harsh words or constant reproach, but by a spirit of meekness, propriety, and love. A gentle and quiet appeal, offered at a calm moment and with honor for him, will do more to win his heart than anger or nagging, even when the smell in the house is difficult to bear. Share honestly how the smell affects you and your home, and ask if you can seek help together, whether through counsel, medical advice, or support to overcome the habit. Do not withdraw from him, but remain faithful in love and prayer, trusting God to work in his heart.

We also thank God with you that you were able to pay some bills and we pray for your ongoing financial burden. God is our provider and He calls us to steward what He gives with wisdom and diligence. We pray that He will supply your needs through honest and steady means, give you wisdom in managing what you have, and guard your heart from anxiety or from trusting in uncertain gain. May He grant you both contentment, diligence in work, and peace as you trust Him day by day.

Let us pray together:

Father in heaven, we thank You for life and for every blessing You give. We lift up this husband to You and ask that You would touch his body and mind, give him conviction and strength to turn away from marijuana vaping, and restore health and clarity. Bring peace to this home and remove what causes distress. Lord, we thank You for Your provision that allowed bills to be paid, and we ask for Your continued help with financial needs. Grant wisdom to steward resources well, to work faithfully, and to trust in Your care. Draw this couple closer to each other and closer to You, that their marriage would be strengthened in love, respect, and holiness. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
