In times like these, it is crucial to remain firm in faith and to trust in God's protection. Psalm 91 WEB reminds us: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
However, we must also address the practical aspects of your situation. While we trust in God's protection, it is also important to take necessary legal steps to ensure the safety of your family. Romans 13:1-4 WEB tells us: "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment. For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the same, for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn’t bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil."

We also pray for the abusive individual, that they may be delivered from the evil one and come to the knowledge of Your truth. We pray that they will repent and turn away from their harmful actions.
