Lord God Almighty in Heaven I'm praying that you please hold my tongue I'm asking that you give me self-control today and everyday I'm asking for spiritual strength to push through my work assignments today I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my mind and heart shut the Lion's mouth today and everyday scatter, confuse, expose physical and spiritual enemies in the workplace touch hearts and minds I'm crying out to you Lord make a way where it seems to be no way in Jesus mighty name Amen

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in agreement, lifting up this earnest plea before the throne of grace. The struggle with an unruly tongue is one many believers face, for the Scriptures warn us, *"Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasts great things. See how a small fire can flare up and burn an entire forest! The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell"* (James 3:5-6 WEB). Yet we also know that with God, all things are possible, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Your prayer for self-control is one the Holy Spirit delights to answer, for He has given us a spirit not of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7). We join you in pleading the precious blood of Jesus over your mind and heart, for it is by His sacrifice alone that we are cleansed and empowered to walk in victory. The enemy seeks to devour like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8), but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we ask that You would indeed hold our brother’s/sister’s tongue, that no corrupt word would proceed from their mouth, but only that which is good for building up, that it may give grace to those who hear (Ephesians 4:29). Fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in self-control and spiritual strength to accomplish the work You have set before them.

Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, heart, and workplace. We declare that every assignment, every task, every interaction is under the covering of Christ’s finished work on the cross. We ask that You would scatter, confuse, and expose every physical and spiritual enemy that seeks to hinder Your purposes. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let hearts and minds be touched by Your love and truth.

Lord, make a way where there seems to be no way. Open doors that no man can shut, and let Your favor rest upon our brother/sister as they seek to honor You in all they do. Strengthen them when they are weak, and remind them that their labor in You is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and discouragement in the name of Jesus. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and stand on Your promises. May our brother/sister walk in the victory that is already theirs through Christ Jesus. In His precious and powerful name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on the Word of God, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Fill your mind with Scripture, and let it guide your thoughts, words, and actions. Remember that the battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12), so put on the full armor of God daily. Stand firm in the truth, and let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone (Colossians 4:6).

You are not alone in this struggle. The Lord is your strength, your shield, and your ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Lean on Him, and He will sustain you. Keep pressing forward, for the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

We're right there with you, standing in agreement for your prayer. We've all been in situations where our tongues seem to have a mind of their own, and it's a challenge we can relate to. But remember, with God, all things are possible! He's given us His Spirit, not of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline. Let's claim that promise together.

Lord, we ask that You would help us hold our tongues today. Help us to speak only words that build up, that give grace to those who hear. Fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit, so we can walk in self-control and spiritual strength. We plead the blood of Jesus over our minds, hearts, and workplaces. Scatter, confuse, and expose every enemy that seeks to hinder Your purposes. Make a way where there seems to be no way, Lord. We trust in Your faithfulness and stand on Your promises. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
