Dear God,
I was trying to invest and make more money so I could have something to retire on and they scammed me out of my retirement savings please dear Lord, help me get this money back. I’ve asked for them to return it and all they keep doing is asking for more money. I don’t have any money left. I don’t know how I’m going to survive. The end is dark and I don’t feel that life is worth living if I can’t have anything to survive on please dear Lord, help me get these funds back.

We hear the deep anguish in your heart, and we grieve with you over this betrayal and the crushing weight of financial loss you are enduring. The pain of being deceived—especially when it threatens your very survival—can feel overwhelming, and the enemy would love nothing more than to drag you into despair, whispering lies that this is the end. But we stand with you in the truth of God’s Word, declaring that **your life has infinite value in His eyes**, and **He is your Provider**, even in the darkest valleys. You are not forgotten, and this is not where your story ends.

First, we must address something vital: **your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ**, and there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through whom we boldly approach the throne of grace. The Scriptures declare, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through faith in Him—His death, burial, and resurrection—that we have access to the Father. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9-10). Without Him, there is no hope, no peace, and no true restoration. But in Him, **all things are possible** (Matthew 19:26).

Now, let us speak truth over your situation. The theft you’ve suffered is an evil work of the enemy, who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly—**even now**. While we pray fervently for the restoration of what was stolen, we must also recognize that God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). He may restore your funds supernaturally, or He may provide for you in ways you cannot yet see. What we *do* know is that He has promised: *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5, WEB). Your worth is not tied to your bank account, and your future is not determined by this fraud. The Lord is your shepherd; **you shall not want** (Psalm 23:1).

That said, we must also act wisely. If you have not already, we strongly urge you to:
1. **Report the scam** to local law enforcement and any relevant financial authorities. Proverbs 21:15 tells us that *"when justice is done, it is joy to the righteous"*—pursuing justice is not a lack of faith but an act of stewardship.
2. **Seek godly counsel** from a trusted pastor or financial advisor in your church. The body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there may be practical steps or resources available to you.
3. **Guard your heart against bitterness**. The betrayal you’ve experienced is profound, but Ephesians 4:26-27 warns us not to let anger give the devil a foothold. Forgiveness does not mean what was done was right; it means releasing the offense to God, who judges justly (1 Peter 2:23).
4. **Reject the lie that your life is not worth living**. This is a direct attack from the pit of hell. Satan wants to destroy you, but Jesus says, *"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full"* (John 10:10, WEB). Your life has purpose, and God is not finished with you yet.

As for your financial despair, remember the words of Jesus: *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?"* (Matthew 6:25-26, WEB). He knows your needs, and He will provide. It may not look like what you expect, but He will never abandon you.

Finally, we must address the darkness you described. Thoughts of hopelessness are not from God. If you are struggling with despair to the point of questioning your will to live, please reach out to a trusted believer *immediately*. You are not alone, and there is no shame in needing help. The psalmist cried out in similar anguish: *"Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence"* (Psalm 42:5, WEB). Cling to that hope, even when you cannot see the light.

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of **Jesus Christ**, lifting up our brother/sister who is broken, betrayed, and overwhelmed by loss. Lord, You see the depth of their pain—the fear, the anger, the despair—and You are not silent. You are a God who hears the cries of Your children, and You are moved with compassion.

We rebuke the spirit of theft and deception that has come against them, and we declare that **no weapon formed against them shall prosper** (Isaiah 54:17). Father, if it is Your will, restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Expose every hidden scheme of the enemy, and bring justice where there has been injustice. Give them wisdom to navigate this storm, and open doors of provision they cannot yet see. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10)—let them experience Your supernatural supply in ways that leave no doubt it was You.

But even as we pray for restoration, Lord, we ask that You guard their heart from bitterness and fear. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that their life is precious to You, and that You have plans for them—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). When the enemy whispers lies of worthlessness, let them hear Your voice louder: *"You are mine."*

If they have not yet surrendered to Jesus, convict their heart now, Lord. Draw them to Yourself, that they may know the hope of salvation and the power of Your name. Let this trial drive them deeper into Your arms, not away from You.

And Father, we ask for divine connections—godly people who can offer practical help, encouragement, and prayer. Surround them with Your body, the church, that they may not walk this road alone.

In the name of **Jesus Christ**, who conquered sin, death, and the grave, we pray. **Amen.**

We will continue to stand with you in prayer. Please let us know if you need further encouragement or guidance. You are loved, you are seen, and **God is not done writing your story**. Hold fast to Him.

Dear friend, we're praying with you today. We know the heavy burden you're carrying, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're here, standing with you, lifting you up before our Father in heaven.

First, let's claim the promise in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus." Let's bring our concerns to God, trusting that He hears us and will provide the peace we need.

Now, let's declare some truths over your situation:

1. **Your worth is not determined by your bank account.** You are a child of God, loved and valued beyond measure (Psalm 139:13-14). This situation does not define you.

2. **God is your Provider, and He sees your need.** He promises in Matthew 6:25-26, "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life... Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" Trust that He will provide for you.

3. **This is not the end of your story.** God is writing your story, and He has a purpose in this trial. As it says in Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

Let's also remember the words of Jesus in John 16:33, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." Jesus has overcome, and He is with you in your trouble.

Please keep us updated on how you're doing, and let us know if there's anything specific you'd like us to pray about. You are loved, and you are not alone. We're in this together, one prayer at a time.
