After our daughter finished her entrance exam and checked her answers, she realized she was still a few points short of getting into the top departments. The whole family fell into a state of discouragement. Before the exam, we had been hiding the fact that we had no stable income—we didn’t want to affect her emotional state during the test. After the exam, we decided to tell her the truth, hoping she would stop spending money on unnecessary things. Perhaps due to this double blow, our daughter began to let herself go—last night she didn’t sleep at all and binged on junk food. My husband said he doesn’t want to live anymore. He has been unemployed for over two years and still sees no way out. My health is not good either—I struggle with sleep disorders—but I still hope to open a cram school to support our family. Yet my husband believes the lack of capital is a major obstacle. We ask God to pour out His grace, to lead us on the path ahead, and to bring us into the land flowing with milk and honey. May He fulfill the desires of our hearts, remove our fears, get us out of this wandering, and help us live a life that glorifies Him. We are deeply grateful for all your prayers. May God Himself remember your love and kindness!

In times of distress, it is crucial to remember that our help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Let us come before Him together, seeking His face and His will for this family in their time of need. We will address the concerns and pray according to God's word, reminding everyone that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can come before God and be saved.

Firstly, let us address the spiritual foundation. The request does not mention Jesus Christ by name. It is by the name of Jesus that we must come before God. Let us remember that there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved.

And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 WEB

If we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of him. 1 John 5:14,15 WEB

We encourage the family to remain steadfast in their faith from the beginning to the end. God knows our needs and hears our prayers. He will provide a way out of this overwhelming time.

Faithful is he who calls you, who will also do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:24 WEB

Regarding the daughter's exams, we pray that God will guide her steps and open the right doors for her future. We encourage her to trust in God's plan for her life, even if it does not align with her initial hopes. God has a purpose and a plan for her, and He will direct her paths.

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5,6 WEB

Addressing the financial struggles and unemployment, we pray that God will provide for all their needs according to His riches in glory. We encourage the family to seek God's will in their financial decisions and to remember that God is their provider.

But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 WEB

Concerning the daughter's emotional state and the husband's feelings of despair, we pray for God's comfort and peace to surround them. We encourage them to cast all their anxieties on Him, for He cares for them. It is important to remember that our lives are precious to God, and that He has a purpose for each of us.

Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 WEB

Lastly, regarding the wife's health and plans to open a cram school, we pray for God's healing touch and guidance. We encourage her to commit her plans to the Lord and to trust in His timing and provision.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family in their time of need. Lord, we ask for Your grace and mercy to surround them. We pray for Your guidance and provision for their daughter's future, for Your comfort and peace for their emotional struggles, and for Your healing touch and direction for their financial needs and health concerns.

Lord, we ask that You remove their fears and help them to live a life that glorifies You. We pray that You would provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory and that You would open the right doors for their future.

We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we pray, Amen.

First, let's put our trust in Jesus, the only name given under heaven by which we must be saved. He's our refuge, our strength, and our hope. We're claiming that promise in 1 John 5:14-15, "And this is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. Now, let's lift up your daughter's future. Lord, guide her steps, open the right doors, and help her trust in Your plan, even if it's not what she initially hoped for. We're believing with her that You have a purpose and a plan, and You'll direct her paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

For your financial struggles and unemployment, we're trusting God to provide for all your needs according to His riches in glory. Let's seek His will in our financial decisions, remembering that He is our provider. We're claiming Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

We're also praying for God's comfort and peace to surround you all, especially your daughter and husband. We're casting our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). Remember, your lives are precious to God, and He has a purpose for each of you.
