We understand that you are going through a tremendously difficult time, and our hearts go out to you. Firstly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in the WEB:
"In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." (Ephesians 3:12)
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12)
Let us pray together for your situation:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear soul who is hurting and lost without their daughter. Lord, we plead for Your protection over both the daughter and the mother, wherever they may be. We pray that You would soften the mother's heart and cleanse her of the anger and hatred she holds, according to Your word:
"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice." (Ephesians 4:31)
Father, we ask that You would forgive the sins of the past. We pray that You will also help them to be done with these sinful activities and turn away from them. We pray that they will be able to forgive themselves, no matter what has happened. We pray that they will be able to receive God's forgiveness and healing in their lives. We pray for healing from the drug use and the pain that has caused them to isolate themselves from their family. We pray that You will give them the strength to overcome these challenges and that they will be able to rebuild their relationships with their family. We pray that You will give them the guidance and strength to become the person You want them to be. We pray that they will be able to find their motivation in life again, even if their daughter is not with them at this time. We pray that You will help them to become the happy person they used to be. We pray according to the scripture:
"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh" (Jeremiah 30:17)
Lord, we also ask that You would work in the courts and the legal system to bring the daughter back into their life if it is Your will. We pray that You would guide them in the path of righteousness (Psalms 23:3). We pray that You would give them the strength to endure this trial and that You would use it to draw them closer to You. We pray for their trust in You to be strengthened, knowing that You are the only one who can help them through these troubled times. We pray that regardless of whether their daughter is returned to them or not, that they would find their identity and worth in You, Lord.
"But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33)
Finally, we pray for their faith and trust in You, and that they have accepted you into their hearts and have a personal relationship with you. We pray that they would find hope and peace in You, even in this difficult time. We pray that they would come to know the love of Christ, which surpasses all knowledge, and be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stay strong in your faith and to trust in the Lord with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5-6). We urge you to turn away from the sinful activities you mentioned. We encourage you to look for Godly counsel from your local church, pastor, or another trusted Christian believer. We encourage you to turn away from drugs, alcohol, or other addictions that can lead you away from God.
