The Ministry of Gratitude
Who are Elected?
Jesus-the Shepherd
We join you in lifting up your family and yourself before our Father in the name of Lord Jesus Christ, and we thank you for coming boldly in that holy name, for it is only through Him that we have access to God and salvation. As it is written, whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved, Acts 2:21, and Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household, Acts 16:31. We praise God with you for all He has already done and for the many prayers He has answered, and we agree with you that we will not lose sight of His faithfulness while waiting for complete deliverance, healing and salvation for all.

We stand with you for strong protection, pleading the blood of Jesus and asking for His covering according to His Word. We claim with you that He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Psalm 91:1, that The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them, Psalm 34:7, and that Yahweh Himself will be a wall of fire around us, Zechariah 2:5. We cling to No weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17, and But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head, Psalm 3:3. We remember that The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us, Romans 8:31. When attacks and abuse have been painful and difficult, we are encouraged that God promises I will save you and deliver you, Jeremiah 15:20-21, and we trust Him to surround each of you with His mighty warrior angels and the fire of His Holy Spirit.

We also hear your honest confession about talking behind another's back, venting frustration, and the explosive anger in your heart, as well as fear. We gently rebuke these things with you in love, for such speech and anger do not reflect Christ, and fear does not come from God. Scripture says If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, 1 John 1:9, and Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you, Ephesians 4:31-32. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. We encourage you to continue to bring these things into the light, to seek forgiveness quickly where you have spoken against others, and to replace venting with prayer and speaking truth in love. God will help you to do better as you walk in repentance.

We pray with you for salvation, deliverance, healing, reconciliation and unity, and for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon your whole family. We ask with you, Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed. Save me, and I will be saved, for you are my praise, Jeremiah 17:14, and we claim But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed, Isaiah 53:5, and For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17. We ask God to pour His love into your hearts as Romans 5:5 says, and hope doesn't disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us, and to give you new hearts as promised, I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you, Ezekiel 36:26, manifesting all the fruit of the Spirit with love, peace and joy. We ask Him to restore your souls, Psalm 23:3, and to restore what seems hopelessly broken, for He says I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, Joel 2:25. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, Galatians 3:13, so we ask Him to break every curse and turn it into blessing.

Concerning the many relationships you mention, including the painful and dysfunctional patterns and the new relationships that cause you concern, we pray for God's holy intervention and for purity and wisdom. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman before God, and that courtship should be entered with the goal of godly marriage to another believing Christian, kept pure before marriage. If any relationship involves fornication, which is sex before or outside marriage, or any immorality including homosexuality, we rebuke it and call for repentance, for God calls us to flee sexual immorality and to honor marriage. We pray that God will prevent disastrous and dysfunctional relationships, rebuke ungodly influences fueling harmful behavior, heal deep wounds of trauma, rejection and abandonment, and lead those involved to either pursue a pure, Christ-centered courtship toward marriage or to separate in holiness. We ask for favor in school for those you love, for supernatural confidence in Christ, for help with understanding material and homework, for healing and protection in sleep, and for restoration where things have been torn.

We also lift up your ministry burdens with you, the prayer gatherings including this Friday evening, the devotions, the sermon preparation and the broad topic you feel uncertain about, the workshop and Live Nativity, and worship. We ask God to powerfully anoint, protect, guide and empower your prayer ministry and to draw hearts to pray together and to pour out the fire of His Holy Spirit. We pray He will tell you exactly what to say, anoint your words for salvation and encouragement, and bring breakthrough and great encouragement where you have felt overlooked and weary.

We thank God that you desire to trust Him and not lean on your own understanding. We claim with you Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6, and we ask Him to give you supernatural trust and faith.

We now pray together.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Lord Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. We plead the blood of Jesus over this dear one and over each member of their family, and we ask for a wall of Holy Spirit fire around each one and for Your warrior angels to encamp around them. Be their shield and their glory, be the wall of fire, let no weapon formed against them prevail, and guard them from the evil one. Save those who are not yet saved, deliver those who are bound, heal the wounded and sick, reconcile what is divided, bring unity, and pour out Your Holy Spirit in power. Restore their souls, give them new hearts and new minds full of love, peace and joy, and let the fruit of the Spirit be evident. Break every curse and turn it into blessing, restore the years the locust has eaten, and restore what seems hopelessly broken. Forgive where there has been gossip, venting and anger, cleanse and teach them to speak with grace and to walk in love and self-control, and cast out all fear. Heal trauma, rejection and abandonment, intervene in every ungodly relationship, stop what is not of You, bring healing to wounds, and lead Your children into purity and into godly marriages that honor You. Help with school, with teachers and fellow students, grant favor, understanding and supernatural confidence in You. Protect their sleep, guide the meeting today, help with work and new responsibilities, help with the needs concerning ###, ###, ###, ###, ### and all those hidden in Your heart, and anoint the prayer gatherings, devotions, sermons, worship, workshop and Live Nativity for Your glory and for salvation. Empower and guide this prayer ministry, send mighty encouragement and breakthrough, and help them to never lose sight of all You have already done. We ask all this according to Your perfect will, trusting that Your arm is not too short to save, and we give You all praise and thanks in Jesus' holy name. Amen.

We are holding your family before the Lord with you, and we hear both the weight you are carrying and the thankfulness you are still choosing to hold onto. Waiting for complete healing, deliverance and salvation while living through ongoing hurt and attacks is exhausting, and it makes sense that trust would feel stretched thin at times.

We are grateful for your honesty about not wanting to lean on your own understanding, and for your willingness to name where anger or words have hurt others. That openness is a sign God is already at work in your heart, even as you wait for more.

When so many needs press in at once it can help to not carry them alone. If you have a trusted pastor or a couple of steady prayer partners, consider sharing the two or three most pressing burdens with them this week so they can stand with you consistently, especially around safety and the strain you described at home and at school. You do not have to sort everything at once.

Father, we lift this family to You in Jesus' name. Surround each one with Your protection and peace, bring healing where there has been wounding, and draw each heart closer to Yourself. Give our friend strength for today, wisdom for each responsibility, and encouragement that You are near and hearing. Restore what is broken in Your way and time. Amen.

Your earnest and burdened prayer has been laid before the Lord with thanksgiving, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His mercy. We have heard your cries for protection, for salvation, for deliverance and healing, and for the mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon your whole family, and we do not speak to the winds nor to the pitiless sea, but to a God whose ear is open and whose arm is not shortened that it cannot save.

You have pleaded the promises of Psalm 91 and Psalm 34:7, that the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and Zechariah 2:5 that He will be a wall of fire round about, and Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. These are precious leaves from the tree of life, and we are reminded that the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves are for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and the very leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. When all your own strength fails you, your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning, your salvation in the time of trouble. Deliverance from a cruel captivity must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone, and He brings forth His people not by their own power, but because He has found a ransom.

Therefore we pray that you would look unto Him and be saved, for salvation is all of grace. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. What is believing on Him but trusting in Him, leaving the whole matter of your present and eternal salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence. Faith must look for salvation only from the Lord and then salvation will come to it. We ask the Lord to pour His love into your hearts according to Romans 5:5, to give you new hearts and new minds according to Ezekiel 36, to restore your souls as in Psalm 23, and to make you to hear joy and gladness that the bones which He has broken may rejoice. Christ has redeemed us from the curse, being made a curse for us, that the blessing might come upon us, and He will restore the years that the locust has eaten.

Concerning your family and those many dear ones whose names you have lifted up, and concerning the relationships which cause you such pain and fear, we pray not that God would merely bless what is, but that He would make all things conformable to His holy will. Marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that pertains to the union of the sexes belongs within that covenant alone. Where relationships have been dysfunctional, painful, marked by rejection and trauma, or formed outside His design, we pray that the Lord in mercy would either bring them under the lordship of Christ in purity and holiness or in His wisdom bring deliverance and a gracious separation, that wounds may be healed and hearts kept from further harm. We ask for His protection over the children in school, for favor with teachers and fellow students, for supernatural confidence not in self but in Him, for help with learning and understanding, for healing of body and mind, for guarded sleep and for peace in the home. For ### and for others you have named, we pray for reconciliation and unity only as it is wrought by the Spirit in truth and righteousness.

We thank God with you for all He has already done and answered, and we pray you may not lose sight of His mercies while still waiting for complete deliverance. You have confessed with a tender conscience that you have spoken ill of others behind their backs and have felt explosive anger and fear in your heart. Be assured that if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us, and to cleanse us. We pray He would confront all that is not of Him, both in others and in ourselves, and comfort those who are wounded, and uphold you with His free Spirit that you may not turn aside again.

For your prayer gatherings, for the evening of prayer this Friday, for your devotions and your prayer ministry, for the sermon and the workshop and the Live Nativity and the worship, we ask that the Lord would anoint every labor. May He tell you exactly what to speak, for His honor is engaged to save the meanest of His sheep when the plain gospel of salvation by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus is preached. May He work in the hearts of His people to come together to pray, and pour out the fire of His Holy Spirit, and grant you encouragement and breakthrough where you have felt overlooked and weary.

We commend you and your household to Him who alone can keep you. Look unto Him in all your trials and afflictions and find deliverance, look unto Him in all your repentance and find pardon. May the Sun of Righteousness rise with healing beneath His wings upon every soul that now sits in the midnight of despair, and may you be kept in perfect peace as you trust not in your own understanding but in Him. In the holy name of our Lord Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for bringing these many burdens before the Lord. I have read your prayer with care and I join you in lifting your family and all these needs to our merciful Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation.

I join you in asking for the Lord's protection over you and your household. We ask Him to be your shield and refuge according to Psalm 91 and Psalm 34:7, to surround you with His presence as a wall of fire and to guard you from every attack and abuse. True safety is found in Christ Himself, and we pray that you would know His nearness and peace even while you wait for full deliverance.

You have asked for salvation, deliverance, healing, reconciliation and unity for your whole family, and for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Scripture reminds us that God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation. Do not put off turning to Him, but encourage each member of your family to hear His word and to respond while His mercy is offered. Hearing alone is not sufficient for salvation, but hearing joined to doing, to patient endurance, to fortitude and to turning away from worldly things. Pray that God would give you and your family new hearts and new minds, that He would pour His love into your hearts by the Holy Spirit, restore your souls, and cause the fruit of the Spirit to be seen in your lives.

In your suffering you have asked for trust and strength. The apostle teaches that affliction, patiently endured, works for our comfort and salvation and makes us partakers with Christ. Your trials are not wasted when they lead you to lean not on your own understanding but to trust Him more fully. We thank God with you for all He has already done and for every answered prayer, and we ask Him to help you keep those mercies in view while you continue to wait on Him for complete healing and restoration. He is able to restore what seems hopelessly broken and to make beauty from what has been lost, as He promised to restore the years that were taken.

Concerning the many relationships and family members you mentioned, including the painful and dysfunctional patterns, the new relationships, and the concerns for school, teachers, and fellow students, we pray for the Lord's clear intervention according to His holy will. We do not ask God to bless what is outside His design, for marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and sexual intimacy and living together belong within that covenant. Where relationships are not aligned with His word, we pray instead for conviction, repentance, purity, healing of wounds, and either a turning toward holiness in singleness or, where He wills, toward a godly marriage. We ask Him to stop what is harmful, to rebuke what is not of Him, to heal trauma and rejection, and to give favor and wisdom where it is needed, always for His glory and for the true good of those involved.

We also bring before the Lord your confessions about speaking against others behind their backs and the anger in your heart. God is faithful to forgive when we confess our sins, and we ask Him to cleanse you, to guard your tongue, to soften your heart, and to help you walk in love and self control. We pray He would help you with work, with new responsibilities, with school and homework, with sleep, with the time away, and with every practical need you named. We ask for supernatural confidence rooted in Christ, for understanding, and for His guidance in each decision.

For your ministry, your prayer gatherings, the devotions, the sermons, the workshop and the worship times, we ask the Lord to anoint, protect and guide you. We pray that He would give you exactly what to speak, that His word would be heard with care and kept with continual recollection, and that it would bear fruit for the salvation of those who hear. We pray for your prayer ministry this Friday evening and in the days to come, that the Lord would draw hearts to pray together and pour out His Spirit for His glory.

May the Lord grant you encouragement and breakthrough, strengthen your faith, and keep you looking to Jesus. We pray that you would know that His arm is not too short to save, that He hears you, and that He will accomplish His good purposes in His perfect time. We continue to pray with you for healing according to Isaiah 53:5, for deliverance, for unity, and for the breaking of every curse through Christ who became a curse for us that we might receive the blessing.

Father, in the holy name of Jesus we ask for Your mercy, Your protection, Your healing and Your saving power upon this family and upon all who are named before You. Lead them into truth, into holiness, and into complete trust in Your Son. Amen.
