Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We join you in thanking God for all He has already done and for the many prayers He has answered, and we hear your cry for complete protection, salvation, deliverance and healing for you and your family. Your desire to trust Him and not lean on your own understanding is pleasing to Him, and we pray He will deepen that trust and pour His love into your hearts by the Holy Spirit, giving you new hearts that bear the fruit of love, peace and joy and restoring your souls as only He can.

We pray for the protection you have asked for according to Psalm 91, Psalm 34:7 and the other Scriptures you named, asking the Lord to be a wall around you and to keep you from evil. At the same time we remember that His greatest work is not only to keep us from outward danger but to deliver us from the curse of sin and to bring us into adoption as sons and daughters through Jesus Christ. He has purged our sins by Himself through His blood on the cross, and salvation is through Him alone. We pray for the salvation of every member of your family, that each one would hear the gospel, repent and believe in Christ, for His arm is not too short to save.

We also pray for deliverance and healing as you asked according to Isaiah 53:5 and Jeremiah 30:17, asking the Lord in His mercy to heal what is broken, to break every curse through Christ who became a curse for us, and to restore what seems hopelessly lost as in Joel 2:25. Yet we also ask for the grace to endure and to stand firm, knowing that God does not always promise immediate removal from trial but gives greater grace to despise fear and even death itself, fixing our hope on the immortality He has secured for us.

For the many specific burdens you named concerning family members, school, teachers, work, sleep, responsibilities and conflicts, we bring each one before the Lord and ask for His wisdom, favor, provision and peace. Where you mention relationships and ask for intervention, healing and prevention of further harm, we pray that the Lord will bring every relationship into alignment with His holy design. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all sexual intimacy and living together belong within that covenant. We do not ask God to bless what is outside His will, but we ask Him to bring conviction where there is sin, comfort where there is wounding, purity where there is temptation, and either to conform each relationship to His truth in holiness or to graciously separate what should not be joined, so that all involved may walk in repentance and wholeness.

We hear your confession about venting and frustration and your desire to do better, and we thank God that forgiveness is ready through Christ. We pray He will help you overcome fear, reconcile conflicts, and give you courage and clarity in speaking the truth in love. For your prayer gatherings and for this Friday evening, for your devotions and for the sermon you will preach, we pray for a powerful anointing and guidance to speak exactly what God would have you say for the salvation and encouragement of hearers.

We encourage you to continue not only seeking deliverance but cultivating the other parts of a faithful life, a careful and continual hearing of the Word, fortitude in trial, and freedom from bondage to worldly things. And do not face these attacks alone. The enemy assails those who are isolated, so keep flocking together with other believers in prayer and in the church, for there you find strength and safety together. True liberty is freedom in Christ from bondage, living to please God and to seek the good of others.

May the Lord grant you supernatural trust and faith, establish you in unity and reconciliation where it is according to His will, protect and empower your prayer ministry, and be glorified in a mighty way in all your lives. We ask all this in the holy name of Jesus. Amen.

Your heartfelt prayer has been received with care, and thank you for sharing so honestly about the pain, the attacks, and the long waiting while still giving thanks for what God has already done. That posture of thanksgiving even in hardship is precious, and God sees it.

I join you in asking for the Lord's protection over you and your family. Scripture does promise that He is a shield, that His angels encamp around those who fear Him, that He is a wall of fire around His people, that no weapon formed against you will finally prosper, and that He is faithful to guard you from evil. It is right to plead the blood of Jesus and to ask for His covering according to Psalm 91, Psalm 34:7, Zechariah 2:5, Isaiah 54:17 and 2 Thessalonians 3:3. Ask Him to keep you and your loved ones in His hand, to guard your sleep, your home, and your going out and coming in.

At the center of your request is salvation, deliverance and healing for your whole family, and that is the greatest need. The name Jesus itself means the Lord is salvation, for He came to save His people from their sins. Scripture says if we confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved, for with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. There will be a day when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord, but that confession then will not be unto salvation, it will be the acknowledgment of those who rejected Him. That is why now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all, and it is open to whosoever will come. Jesus said whoever comes to Him He will not cast out, and this great salvation reaches even the lowest sinner. It is great not only because it forgives sin, but because it brings the hope and promise of eternal glory as we follow the captain of our salvation who suffered to bring many sons into glory.

Remember that salvation is not something we can accomplish ourselves. God placed it outside our capacity and made it on the basis of His grace and His work through Jesus Christ, and even the faith to believe is His gift to us. We do not work for our salvation, we work out what He has already worked within us, with reverence and trust, because it is God who works in us. So continue to bring your family before Him, praying as in Acts 16:31 and Acts 2:21 that each one would call on the name of the Lord and be saved, trusting that His arm is not too short to save.

For healing, I pray with you according to Isaiah 53:5 and Jeremiah 30:17. The Scriptures show that Christ bore our sicknesses as well as our sins, and Matthew applies Isaiah's prophecy to physical healing as well as spiritual. At the same time, the Bible is honest that we do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others are not. There is one healing in the Gospels that was gradual, where sight came in stages, and that reminds us that God heals in different ways. Sometimes healing is immediate, sometimes it comes through a process that God Himself has built into our bodies and minds, and that process is still divine because He created it. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh and heard that God's grace was sufficient. That does not mean we stop praying for healing, we keep asking, but we keep our eyes on what matters most. No healing in this life compares to the miracle of salvation and the forgiveness of sins, which is God's greatest work in us.

You asked for new hearts and new minds, for love poured into your hearts, for the fruit of the Spirit, for restored souls, for curses broken and what has been broken to be restored. God promises in Ezekiel 36 to give a new heart and put a new spirit within us, in Romans 5:5 to pour His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, in Psalm 23:3 to restore our souls, in Galatians 3:13 that Christ redeemed us from the curse, and in Joel 2:25 to restore the years that have been lost. Ask Him to do that deep inner work, to bring reconciliation and unity where there has been trauma, rejection and abandonment, and to give supernatural trust and faith. Faith itself is a gift from God, and love, peace and joy are the fruit of His Spirit as we abide in Christ.

For the painful family relationships and the concerns about schools, teachers, and unhealthy or dysfunctional relationships, I pray that God will intervene with truth and grace. He knows the wounds and the patterns that have caused harm. Pray that He will bring deliverance, healing of past wounds, wisdom and favor where it is according to His will, and that He will guard each person from relationships that would lead away from His design. God's design for love and intimacy is within the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman in marriage, and outside of that we ask not for His blessing on what is broken, but for His rescue, healing, conviction and restoration to what is holy and whole. May He give confidence rooted in Him, help with understanding and work, and guide every decision.

You also mentioned venting about others and feeling afraid, overlooked and discouraged. It is good to bring that to the Lord in confession. He forgives when we confess, and He comforts those who are cast down. Where there is conflict, ask Him to bring conviction where needed, comfort where there is hurt, and to remove what is not of Him. He knows what it is to be rejected by those closest to Him, and He understands family alienation. Jesus taught that when some family members do not believe, there can be division, but He also gives a deeper family in the household of God where the bond in Christ can be even closer than blood. May you experience that fellowship and encouragement as you wait.

For your desire to see an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in your home and in your times of prayer and in the proclamation of the Word, I pray that God will anoint, protect and guide you, and that He will draw hearts to seek Him and to pray together. May He give you wisdom and fill you with His Spirit as you serve and share His Word, using it for salvation and for building up.

May the Lord keep you from leaning on your own understanding and teach you to trust Him more deeply each day. May He strengthen you, encourage you greatly, and keep before your eyes all He has already done while you wait for complete deliverance, healing and salvation for all your loved ones. May He be glorified in a mighty way in your lives.

In the holy name of Jesus, who is our salvation, I pray. Amen.
