Lord Jesus please grant

I hear the ache and the faith woven together in your prayer. You are crying out for protection, for salvation, for healing and reconciliation, and you are standing on promises that cannot fail. That is not weakness; that is the posture of someone who has learned that true help comes from only one source.

When David was driven from his home, with powerful forces closing in, he declared: “Truly my soul waiteth upon God; from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock.” The pressure you feel to take matters into your own hands is real, the attacks, the strained relationships, the burdens with school and work, but the Spirit is gently strengthening you to do what does not come naturally: to wait, to trust, to let your expectation for deliverance rest entirely on Him. That waiting is not passive; it is an act of faith that anchors itself in the character of God.

Your prayer for salvation for your whole family is precious. I strongly encourage you to continue, with confidence, to believe God for your loved ones who do not yet know Him. Relationship with Jesus is the only ground of salvation, not rituals, not good intentions, but a living, loving connection to the One who shed His blood for the remission of sins. His arm is indeed not too short to save, and He is patient, not willing that any should perish. The delay you feel may be His mercy unfolding, waiting for the perfect fruit of the harvest. What feels like a long night is not a denial of dawn.

You mentioned the danger of losing sight of all He has already done. That is vital. Remember the way God commanded His people to memorialize their deliverance from Egypt: “Remember this day, for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out.” Every answered prayer, every moment of protection, every time He sustained you is a memorial stone. Rehearse those victories. When the enemy whispers that nothing is changing, point to the evidence that God has been fighting for you all along.

The thirst you feel for love, security, and wholeness is not a sign that you are failing, it is the homing instinct of a soul made for God. The psalmist said, “My soul thirsteth after thee, O God, for the living God.” That thirst drives you back to the Vine. Apart from Jesus, you can do nothing; the fruit of love, joy, peace, those are not manufactured by trying harder, they are the organic outflow of abiding in Him. Forgive yourself for the venting and frustration; bring it to the cross. The new heart you are asking for is exactly what He promised: a heart of flesh in place of stone, empowered by His Spirit to love and forgive from a pure motive.

The warfare you sense over your family, the schools, the troubled relationships, it is not imaginary. But you are not called to run an advertising campaign for the enemy’s defeat. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord. He fights for you. The Egyptians you see today, the patterns of dysfunction, the schemes of manipulation, the burnout, you will see them no more. Not because you have figured out the perfect strategy, but because the Lord is a warrior who brings His children out of bondage with a strong hand.

When the Israelites passed through the sea, the immediate response was a song and a dance of deliverance. Even now, in the middle of the waiting, your praise is a weapon. Not a forced emotional display, but a sincere declaration rooted in the truth of His Word. Your faith does not rest on feelings but on the finished work of Christ and the covenant sealed in His blood. That covenant is sure because it depends entirely on His work, not yours.

So continue to plead the blood over your little one and your entire household. Ask for that wall of Holy Spirit fire. But also, let your soul settle into the quiet confidence that He who began a good work will complete it. He wants not a legal arrangement with you, but a loving relationship where you know, really know, how deeply He loves you. Go into that prayer gathering on Friday, and into your daily responsibilities, not carrying the weight of making things happen, but as a branch drawing life from the vine, certain that the fruit will grow in its season.
