We join with you in lifting up your family, your heartfelt cries for salvation, healing, and deliverance, and we stand in agreement with your pleas for God’s glory to be made known in every area of your lives. Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is a powerful testimony, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). You have done well to come before the Lord with such boldness and humility, acknowledging your dependence on Him in every detail of your lives.
Your plea for the blood of Jesus to cover your family, especially the little one, is a beautiful expression of faith in His sacrificial work on the cross. The blood of Christ is indeed our protection, our cleansing, and our victory over the enemy. As you have invoked the promises of Psalm 91, we remind you of its powerful assurance: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’"* (Psalm 91:1-2, WEB). You are standing on firm ground, and we declare with you that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is faithful, and He will establish you in righteousness. He is your defender, your healer, and your provider.
We also lift up your requests for salvation for unsaved family members, for their hearts to be opened to the Gospel. Oh, how the Lord longs for all to come to repentance! *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict their hearts, that they would turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, receiving forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus (Acts 26:18). May they encounter the living God in ways they cannot deny, and may their lives be transformed by His grace.
Your cries for deliverance from bondage, addictions, and compulsions resonate with the heart of God, who came to set the captives free. Jesus declared, *"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed, and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."* (Luke 4:18-19, WEB). We stand with you in declaring freedom over every chain that has bound your family. The enemy has no authority where the name of Jesus is lifted high. We plead the blood of Christ over every addiction, every stronghold, and every area of captivity. The Lord is breaking these chains even now, and we thank Him for the victory that is already won through the cross.
You have also lifted up specific needs—work, relationships, health, and the battles you face in the spiritual and natural realms. We pray for the Lord’s divine intervention in every area you’ve mentioned, including the situations involving K., H., and the challenges at work. The Lord sees the details you cannot even put into words, and He is at work behind the scenes. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). We ask the Lord to grant you His peace, which transcends all understanding, as you trust Him with these burdens.
We also address the anger and frustration you mentioned. It is right to bring these emotions before the Lord, for He cares deeply about the things that stir your heart. However, we are called to *"be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath"* (Ephesians 4:26, WEB). We pray that the Lord would help you release these emotions to Him, that He would replace them with His righteousness and peace. May He give you wisdom in how to address these situations in a way that honors Him, and may He turn what the enemy meant for harm into a blessing.
Your request for the Lord to confront individuals such as A. and to prevent unhealthy relationships is one we take seriously. The Lord is a God of justice, and He will vindicate His people. *"‘Vengeance is mine,’ says the Lord, ‘I will repay.’"* (Romans 12:19, WEB). We pray that the Lord would expose every scheme of the enemy and bring conviction where it is needed. We also pray that He would guard your heart and the hearts of your loved ones from entering into relationships that are not of Him. May He give you discernment to recognize His will and the courage to walk in obedience, even when it is difficult.
For K., we pray for healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. May the Lord restore her strength, grant her confidence in Him, and surround her with godly friendships that encourage her faith. We ask that He would help her in her studies, giving her understanding and wisdom beyond her years. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* (James 1:5, WEB). May she know beyond a shadow of a doubt that she is deeply loved by her Heavenly Father.
We also lift up your requests for the leadership in your church and the feelings of being overlooked or bypassed. The Lord sees your heart and your desire to serve Him faithfully. We pray that He would bring unity, humility, and godly wisdom to those in leadership. May He expose any pride or favoritism and replace it with a spirit of servanthood and love. *"But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, ‘God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.’"* (James 4:6, WEB). We ask that the Lord would heal any wounds and restore trust and harmony among the body of believers.
Your request for the Lord’s anointing on prayer meetings, outreach, and services is one we wholeheartedly agree with. May the Holy Spirit move mightily in these gatherings, drawing hearts to Christ and equipping believers for the work of the ministry. *"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher? And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!’* (Romans 10:14-15, WEB). We pray that every word spoken would be anointed by the Spirit, that lives would be transformed, and that the Lord would receive all the glory.
Finally, we want to encourage you in your walk with the Lord. You have acknowledged your failures and your need for His mercy, and this is the posture of a heart that is tender before Him. His mercies *are* new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). Do not be discouraged by your weaknesses, for it is in them that His strength is perfected. Keep seeking Him, keep repenting where needed, and keep trusting in His faithfulness. He is working all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister and her family. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We thank You for the faith You have placed in her heart to call upon Your name and to stand on Your promises. Father, we ask that You glorify Yourself in her family. Let Your light shine so brightly in their lives that all will see and know that You are the Lord.
We plead the blood of Jesus over every member of this family—spirit, soul, and body. Protect them, Lord, from every scheme of the enemy. Surround them with Your mighty warrior angels and encircle them with a wall of Holy Spirit fire. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask for salvation for every unsaved family member. Softens their hearts, Lord, and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Draw them to Yourself, that they may repent and be saved.
Lord, we pray for healing—physical, emotional, and spiritual. Touch every area of brokenness, every addiction, every compulsion, and set them free by the power of Your Spirit. You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, and we trust You to restore health and strength to each one. We specifically lift up the little one, K., and ask that You would heal her body, mind, and spirit. Give her confidence in You, Lord, and surround her with godly friendships. Help her in her studies and let her know that she is deeply loved by You.
Father, we pray for wisdom and guidance in every area of their lives—work, relationships, and ministry. Give them discernment to recognize Your will and the courage to walk in obedience. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in the situations at work, in the church, and in every area where they feel overwhelmed or overlooked. Bring unity, humility, and godly leadership, and expose anything that is not of You. Heal every wound, Lord, and restore trust and harmony.
We pray for Your powerful anointing on every prayer meeting, outreach, and service. Let Your Holy Spirit move mightily, drawing hearts to Christ and equipping believers for the work of the ministry. May lives be transformed, and may You receive all the glory.
Father, we also lift up the anger and frustration that has been mentioned. Help our sister to release these emotions to You and to respond in a way that honors You. Turn every situation around for good, Lord, and let Your peace guard her heart and mind.
Lastly, Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and Your promises are true. We trust You to answer these prayers according to Your perfect will and timing. Strengthen our sister and her family, Lord, and let them know that You are with them always.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
