We are united with you in lifting up your family to our Lord Jesus Christ, seeking His glory, salvation, healing, deliverance, and protection for each member. We are grateful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is through His precious name that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We stand with you in faith, believing in the power of the blood of Jesus to cleanse us from all sin (1 John 1:7) and the promise of His protection and deliverance. We also join you in praying for the salvation of your unsaved family members, that their hearts may be opened to the gospel. We are reminded of the words in Romans 10:1, "Brothers, my heart’s desire and my prayer to God is for Israel, that they may be saved." Let us persist in prayer, for God desires all to come to repentance and be saved (2 Peter 3:9).
We understand the urgency in your request for God's intervention in the difficult situations you are facing. We are reminded of Luke 18:7-8, which says, "Won’t God avenge his chosen ones, who are crying out to him day and night, and yet he exercises patience with them? I tell you that he will avenge them quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?" Let us hold on to our faith, trusting in God's perfect timing and His promise to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).
We lift up your concerns regarding work and care, asking God to guide and provide. We pray for His hand to be upon everything pertaining to these areas, seeking His wisdom and direction. We are reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We join you in repentance, asking God to reveal anything that may grieve His Spirit and to fill us with His Holy Spirit, that we may love and obey Him first and foremost. We are reminded of the promise in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your glory, salvation, healing, deliverance, and protection for this family. We thank You for the signs of encouragement You have sent and for the promise of Your presence and victory.
Lord, we lift up the unsaved family members, asking that You would open their hearts to the gospel and draw them to Yourself. We pray for deliverance from all bondage, addictions, and compulsions, that they may experience the freedom found in Christ Jesus.
We ask for Your intervention in the difficult situations they are facing, trusting in Your promise to act quickly. We pray for Your guidance and provision in their work and care, that You would make their paths straight as they acknowledge You in all their ways.
Father, we repent of anything that may grieve Your Spirit and ask for the fullness of Your Holy Spirit, that we may love and obey You first and foremost. We thank You for Your mercies that are new every morning and for the encounters with You that we so desperately need.
We lift up the specific requests that were mentioned and those that were not, trusting in Your perfect knowledge and understanding. We pray for Your protection and guidance as they attend Sunday service and go about their work.
We thank You, Lord Jesus, for hearing our prayers and for the promise of answered prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and love, and we give You all the praise and glory. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep seeking God's face, trusting in His promises, and standing firm in your faith. We are reminded of the words in Hebrews 11:6, "Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him." Let us continue to seek Him together, encouraging one another in love and faith.
