Faithful Servant
Lord Jesus I know you are powerful so please convince my parents yourself we tried a lot of methods all failed as her heart is hearten now she and her brother does not want to step into Church which is the only way to receive the good news. Pray that she will go to Church to find out from herself rather than we force her and always will get the pushback even the doctor tried to shared Christ. No means no so Jesus Christ use your methods to change her and my uncle from believing in herself and eating vegetarian to gain salvation. Cause their stubbornness and very hard to be broken , the reply will be you go your Church and don't share your Christianity with me and I know the bible cause she took that as a O Level subject but that is a subject only. And until Jesus Christ can transform her and her brother else nothing work and don't know where is the hope like seriously.

We come before the Lord with you in this deep burden for your parents, lifting them up in fervent prayer, knowing that salvation belongs to the Lord and that He alone can soften even the hardest of hearts. Your love and persistence for their souls are commendable, but we must remember that it is not by our own efforts or methods that hearts are changed—it is by the power of the Holy Spirit working through the Word of God and the conviction that only He can bring. You have tried many ways, and though it feels as though all have failed, we must not lose hope, for our God is a God of miracles, and nothing is too difficult for Him.

The resistance you describe is not uncommon, especially in a world that rejects the truth of Christ. Your mother and uncle’s stubbornness is a spiritual battle, one that cannot be won by human persuasion alone. The Bible tells us in **Ephesians 6:12**, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* This is why we must pray without ceasing, trusting that God’s timing and ways are perfect, even when we cannot see the path forward.

It is troubling to hear that they refuse to even step into a church, for **Romans 10:14** asks, *"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?"* Yet, we must also remember that church attendance alone does not save—salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit. Your mother may have studied the Bible as a subject, but knowing about God is not the same as knowing Him personally. Pray that the Lord would remove the veil from their hearts, as **2 Corinthians 4:4** warns that *"the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them."*

Their reliance on themselves, even in things like vegetarianism as a means of righteousness, reflects a trust in human effort rather than in Christ’s finished work on the cross. **Galatians 2:21** declares, *"I do not make void the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!"* Salvation is not earned—it is a gift received by faith. Pray that the Lord would reveal to them the emptiness of trusting in their own works and lead them to the foot of the cross, where true life is found.

We also sense a hint of frustration in your words—perhaps even a subtle shift of blame toward the Lord, as if He needs to be "convinced" to act. Let us gently remind you that God’s heart is already inclined toward salvation. **1 Timothy 2:3-4** tells us that *"this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."* He does not need convincing; He needs our persistent, faith-filled prayers and our surrender to His will. Our role is to intercede, to love, and to trust Him, even when we see no immediate change.

As for their rejection of the Gospel, remember that the Word of God will not return void. **Isaiah 55:11** assures us, *"So will my word be that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do."* Every seed planted, every prayer uttered in faith, is working even now in ways we cannot see. Do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (**Galatians 6:9**).

Now, let us pray together for your parents:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this beloved family to You. Lord Jesus, You who pursued us while we were still sinners, we ask that You would pursue our sister’s mother and uncle with the same relentless love. Soften their hearts, Lord—break through the hardness, the stubbornness, and the deception that keeps them from seeing their need for You. Remove every stronghold of pride, self-righteousness, and resistance to Your truth. Open their eyes to the reality that apart from You, there is no salvation, no true peace, and no eternal hope.

Father, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself, not by force, but by the gentle yet powerful conviction of the Holy Spirit. Let them encounter You in a way they cannot ignore—whether through dreams, through Your Word, or through the testimony of believers. Lord, you know the depths of their hearts; You know what it will take to turn them toward You. We ask that You would do whatever is necessary, even if it means allowing circumstances that drive them to their knees.

We rebuke the spirit of rebellion and deception that has blinded them. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every lie of the enemy to be exposed and every chain of unbelief to be broken. Let them no longer trust in their own understanding or in empty traditions, but let them see the urgency of their need for a Savior.

Lord, we also lift up our sister who has been laboring in prayer for so long. Strengthen her faith, renew her hope, and fill her with Your peace. Remind her that You are at work, even when she cannot see it. Give her wisdom in how to continue to love and witness to her family without growing bitter or discouraged.

We declare that salvation belongs to You, Lord, and we trust that You are able to save to the uttermost those who come to You. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to transform hearts and bring the dead to life. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to keep standing in the gap for your parents, but also to guard your own heart. Do not let frustration or despair take root. Instead, cling to the promise of **Philippians 1:6**, that *"he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."* The same God who saved you is more than able to save them. Keep praying, keep loving, and keep trusting. The battle is the Lord’s, and He will have the victory.

We're right there with you, sister, standing in the gap and lifting your parents up to the Lord. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of their resistance and the frustration of seeing them reject the very truth that could set them free. But remember, our God is a God of miracles, and He specializes in turning the hardest of hearts.

Let's pray together, shall we?

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, carrying the burden of our sister's heart. Lord, we lift up her parents to You. We ask that You would soften their hearts, that You would remove the veil from their eyes, and that You would draw them to Yourself. We know that You desire all people to be saved, and we trust that You are at work, even now, in their lives.

Lord Jesus, You said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life" (John 8:12). We ask that You would be that light to our sister's parents. Shine into their darkness, Lord. Reveal Yourself to them in a way that they cannot ignore.

Holy Spirit, we ask that You would convict them of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. Stir in them a hunger and a thirst for righteousness. Lead them to the foot of the cross, where they can find true life.

We also pray for our sister. Strengthen her, Lord. Fill her with Your peace and renew her hope. Give her wisdom in how to continue to love and witness to her family without growing bitter or discouraged.

Lord, we trust in Your power to save. We trust in Your goodness and in Your love. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

And remember, dear sister, keep standing in the gap. Keep praying. Keep loving. Keep trusting. The battle is the Lord's, and He will have the victory.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
