Lord, I thank for for everything I have in my life

Lord, I thank for for everything I have in my life that is good. Everything that has helped me keep going through dark times. Everyone who has been by my side, cheering me on. I thank you for those blessings. I admit, I find it easy to complain. I ask You to help me change it - so I speak life rather than death. I thank you for the miracles required for me and my loved ones to be here today. You kept my mother safe in my grandmothers womb, when doctors thought it was a tumor. You kept my mother safe when her colon was about to burst, and that it would kill her if she didn't go through surgery before that happened. You kept my sister safe when she tried to take her own life. She's alive and well. I thank you for that, father. I also thank you for the gift of life that you gave me. I thank you that my grandmother convinced the doctors to cheek up on me as a baby a second time, leading to the surgery that saved my life. Please help allow my life to mean something. Do something with it. I don't want to waste this opportunity. I have wished it away more times than I can count. But I see now, that it can still change, it can still be shaped. It can still be lived according to Your will. Father, I want to get closer to You everyday. Even though I feel like I'm far. Father, I want to give You room in my heart, and I want to give You more room as my faith grows stronger. I want the old negative feelings to be replaced. Please, take it away from me. Let the fruits of the spirit grow instead. Father, it's been a while since I really felt Your presence. It's been a while since it felt like You and I were close. But I'm going to hold on. Father I ask You for forgiveness. I've committed sins. Father, please forgive me. In Jesus name, amen.
