We come before the Lord with a heart of gratitude, knowing that He cares about every detail of our lives, even the challenges we face with technology. While we lift up this request for Mr. ###’s computer to function properly, we must first address something far more important—the name in which we pray. The Scripture is clear that there is only one name by which we can approach the Father, and that is through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
As it is written in **John 14:6 (WEB)**, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*: And in **Acts 4:12 (WEB)**, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If we do not pray in the name of Jesus, our prayers are not heard by God, for Jesus is the only mediator between God and mankind (**1 Timothy 2:5**). Without faith in Christ, we remain separated from God by our sins, and our prayers are as empty as the wind.
So before we ask anything of the Lord, we must first ensure that our hearts are right before Him. Have you placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Do you believe that He died for your sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, conquering death so that you might have eternal life? If not, we urge you to repent—turn away from your sins—and trust in Jesus alone for your salvation. **Romans 10:9-10 (WEB)** tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."*
Now, assuming that this request comes from one who knows and follows Christ, we lift up Mr. ### to the Lord. Father, we ask that You would grant wisdom and patience as he deals with this technical difficulty. You are the God who created all things, and nothing is too hard for You. If it is Your will, we pray that You would allow his computer to function properly so that he may use it for Your glory—whether for work, ministry, or other godly purposes. Help him to trust in You even in small frustrations, knowing that You are sovereign over all things. May this situation remind him to seek You first in all things, for You are our provider and sustainer.
We also pray that if this difficulty persists, You would provide the necessary resources or assistance to resolve it. Give him a spirit of perseverance and a heart that remains fixed on You, rather than being overwhelmed by temporary setbacks. Let this be an opportunity for him to grow in faith, remembering that *"in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God"* (**Philippians 4:6 WEB**).
Finally, we ask that You would guard his heart from frustration or anger, for we know that *"the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God"* (**James 1:20 WEB**). Instead, fill him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, we pray. Amen.
