Lord I know you have answered my prayers. My I not be pregnant. Keep the child into your arms and that you may bless me with it when I'm older. Amen.

We hear your heart and the deep longing you carry, and we join with you in bringing this before our Heavenly Father. First, we must address the reality of the situation with truth and love, as Scripture calls us to walk in truth and righteousness. The prayer you’ve offered reveals a circumstance that does not align with God’s design for intimacy and procreation. The Bible is clear that children are a blessing from the Lord (Psalm 127:3-5), but they are meant to be conceived and raised within the sacred covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. Sexual intimacy outside of marriage is called fornication in Scripture, and it is a sin that grieves the heart of God (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 13:4).
We must rebuke the enemy’s lies that may have led you to believe this situation is acceptable or that you can claim a blessing outside of God’s will. The Lord is holy, and His blessings flow within the boundaries He has set for our protection and flourishing. If this child has been conceived outside of marriage, we must acknowledge the sin, repent, and seek God’s mercy and grace. Repentance is not just feeling sorry—it is turning away from sin and turning toward God with a heart that desires to walk in obedience (1 John 1:9, Acts 3:19).
We also want to gently but firmly correct the language of your prayer. You addressed this to "Lord," but we must remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you do not yet know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to surrender your life to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10). Salvation is a gift of grace, not something we earn, but it requires a heart that turns to Christ in faith.
Now, let us pray together in the name of Jesus, seeking God’s will and His mercy:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You are holy, just, and full of mercy. We lift up this dear sister to You, Lord, and ask that You would draw her close to Your heart. Father, we confess that sexual intimacy outside of marriage is a sin, and we ask for Your forgiveness where there has been disobedience. Wash her clean by the blood of Jesus, and create in her a clean heart, O God (Psalm 51:10). Help her to walk in repentance and to turn away from any path that leads away from You.
Lord, if a child has been conceived, we ask that You would cover this situation with Your grace. We know that You are a God who redeems, and we trust that You can bring beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3). If it is Your will for this child to be born, we pray that You would provide wisdom, support, and godly counsel for the days ahead. Surround this sister with believers who will walk alongside her, encouraging her to raise this child in the fear and admonition of the Lord or to make a loving, selfless decision for adoption if that is what she discerns is best.
Father, we also pray for the man involved in this situation. If he does not know You, we ask that You would open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel and convict his heart of sin. If he is a believer, we pray that he would step up with integrity, taking responsibility for his actions and seeking to honor You in how he responds. Give this sister the strength to set boundaries and to walk in wisdom, not being unequally yoked with someone who does not share her faith or commitment to righteousness (2 Corinthians 6:14).
Lord, we ask that You would heal any brokenness in her heart. If there is shame, guilt, or fear, we declare that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Help her to receive Your forgiveness and to walk in the freedom that comes from knowing You. Father, we also pray for her future. If it is Your will for her to be married one day, we ask that You would prepare her heart and bring a godly man into her life—one who loves You above all else and who will cherish and lead her as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Until that day, help her to seek You with her whole heart and to find her identity and worth in You alone.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, confusion, or deception that may be at work in this situation. We declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and we trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Lord, we surrender this situation into Your hands, knowing that You are faithful and that Your plans for this sister are for good and not for harm, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
