Lord, I don't really know what to say other than that I'm feeling down and discouraged. So many around me are feeling the same way. My mother is dealing with depression. My roommate is dealing with anxiety and the woman I love is going through a lot and is pushing me away. I am very unhappy at my job and have been for years. That might not seem like a lot, but after a while it takes its toll. And there are other issues as well. I'm just feeling defeated today, Lord. Please lift up all those in my life who are hurting or in pain. YOU know the situations for each and every one of us. Amen.
