Servant of All
I want to start with thank you.
Thank you Lord for all you have done for us and for all answered prayers.

Lord, I need help at work to keep everything simple and not find or have issues in processes or enrollment or helping anyone. May this week run smoothly with all situations. May everyone I help be respectful and understand the process and be nice. Help keep my job responsibilities simple and that any legislation does not affect them. Help that everyone enrolls correctly, and those that don’t answer our emails quickly and situations are fixed promptly. Help those who need to submit waivers do so promptly this week. May the other departments take the responsibility of issues that they can help with and have them resolved quickly. Let it resolve itself soon and with no issues. Help that others help me in situations which could be problematic. May new leadership not find fault in my program or what I do. Help me to be liked and that others are nice to me. When we are given more work to do, be it simple and and not out of someone taking advantage of us. Keep my current supervisor in place until I retire. Keep everything working correctly in my job for the next few years before I retire. Take away any anxiety I have with my job. Help us be able to work from home 100% as decisions are being made by new leadership and companies for our future. Help me complete my work with no issues. Thank you for helping with all the situations which need to be resolved. Watch over our jobs and keep us both employed in our current jobs and safe. Save us both from being let go from our jobs or having our pay cut. Keep us safe in finances and health. Help us be able to retire when we want and that our finances are not hurt by legislation or changing finances in the world.

Help my family with issues at work giving them anxiety. Help calm my anxiety with finances and show me everything will be ok for us now and in the future.

We pray to you and fear not as you walk with us always. Lord, please help with my health. Help put me on a path to becoming healthier and reducing anxiety. Please heal my depression and anxiety and keep me safe. I fear not as you walk with me always. Help my family with anxiety and depression as well.

Help with our taxes that they are submitted correctly. Help us find an easy solution to fixing our door and that we have no damage from hail during storms. Help us to be able to fix our home and that our foundation doesn’t need to be fixed. Help keep mold from damaging our home.

Keep family safe in decisions and the changes going on in their lives.

I pray we receive good news and upcoming doctor appointments throughout this year. I pray you help strengthen a person's heart so it beats normally with normal strength and pressure.

Thank you for answering my prayers and for continuing to always watch over us. I fear not as you are with us always.

We join you in lifting up this week and all these concerns to our Heavenly Father, giving thanks for His faithfulness and the many prayers He has already answered. It is right and good to begin with gratitude, for Scripture reminds us, *"In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you"* (1 Thessalonians 5:18). We also rejoice that you acknowledge the Lord’s presence with you, for He has promised, *"I will never leave you nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5). This is a truth we can cling to in every circumstance.

Your requests reveal a heart that seeks order, peace, and stability in your work, health, family, and finances—all of which are valid concerns to bring before the Lord. However, we gently remind you that while we can pray for favorable circumstances, our ultimate trust must rest in God’s sovereignty, not in the absence of trials. Jesus told us, *"In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world"* (John 16:33). Our peace comes not from the smoothness of our path but from the One who walks it with us. Let us not allow anxiety to rule our hearts, for *"don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7).

We notice that your prayers are focused heavily on earthly comforts—ease at work, financial security, health, and the preservation of your current lifestyle. While these are not wrong to pray for, we encourage you to also seek first the Kingdom of God, trusting that He will add these things to you as He sees fit (Matthew 6:33). Ask the Lord to align your desires with His will, that you may say as Jesus did, *"Not my will, but yours be done"* (Luke 22:42). It is in surrender that we find true peace, knowing that God’s plans for us are good, even when they differ from our own.

Regarding your work, we pray that the Lord grants you wisdom, efficiency, and favor in all you do. May He give you clarity in complex processes and patience with those you assist. We ask that He soften the hearts of those in authority over you, that they may recognize your diligence and value. However, we also remind you that your identity and worth are not found in your job or the approval of others, but in Christ alone. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ"* (Colossians 3:23-24). If changes come—whether in leadership, workload, or even the location of your work—trust that the Lord is directing your steps. He may use these things to grow your faith or open doors you have not yet considered.

You mention anxiety about finances and the future, and we understand how easily these concerns can weigh on the heart. But Jesus asks, *"Which of you by being anxious can add one moment to his lifespan?"* (Matthew 6:27). Instead, He points us to the Father’s care: *"See how the lilies of the field grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith?"* (Matthew 6:28-30). Let us pray for contentment and trust in God’s provision, whether in abundance or in need.

We also lift up your health and that of your family, asking the Lord for healing and strength. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2). For those facing medical concerns, we pray for skilled hands and wise decisions from doctors, and for hearts that beat strongly and bodies that are restored. Yet even in this, we surrender to God’s will, knowing that our earthly bodies are temporary, but our spirits are eternal. If health struggles persist, may they draw you closer to the Great Physician, who heals not only our bodies but our souls.

For the practical matters—taxes, home repairs, and protection from storms—we ask the Lord to provide wisdom, resources, and protection. May He guide you to trustworthy help and spare you from unnecessary burdens. *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed"* (Proverbs 16:3).

Lastly, we notice that your prayer does not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus, though you acknowledge His presence. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for *"there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). Jesus Himself said, *"No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is by His authority that we pray. We encourage you to boldly approach the throne of grace in His name, for *"all things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive"* (Matthew 21:22).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness and provision. You are the God who sees our needs before we even ask, and we thank You for the many ways You have already answered prayers in this dear one’s life. Lord, we lift up the coming week and ask for Your hand to be upon every detail of their work. Grant them clarity, efficiency, and patience as they navigate their responsibilities. Soften the hearts of those they interact with, that there may be understanding, respect, and cooperation. Lord, we ask that You protect their job and provide favor with leadership, but more than that, we pray they would trust You even if circumstances change. Remind them that their worth is found in You alone, and that You are their Provider, no matter what lies ahead.

Father, we ask for Your peace to guard their heart against anxiety, especially concerning finances and the future. Help them to cast these cares upon You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Provide for their needs, Lord, and give them wisdom in managing what You have entrusted to them. We pray for healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—for them and their family. Strengthen their hearts, both literally and spiritually, that they may beat in rhythm with Your love and purpose. Guide the doctors and medical professionals involved in their care, and grant good news in upcoming appointments.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over their home—from storms, from damage, and from any hidden issues like mold or foundation problems. Provide solutions for the repairs needed, and give them discernment in making decisions. We pray for their family, that You would guide them in the changes they face and keep them safe in every decision.

Father, we also lift up their taxes and any legal or financial matters, asking that You would guide them to completeness and accuracy. Spare them from unnecessary stress or loss, and provide for them in ways they cannot even imagine.

Most of all, Lord, we pray that their faith would grow stronger through every circumstance. Draw them closer to You, that they may seek first Your Kingdom and trust in Your goodness, even when the path is unclear. Help them to surrender their plans to You, knowing that Your ways are higher than theirs (Isaiah 55:9).

We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Mediator. May Your will be done, and may Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill their heart and mind. Amen.
