Father forgive me a sinner, help me Lord to stay focused on whatever I may pursue that is pleasing in your sight. Lord grant me the courage to be bold and yet fair that I may not only stand up for myself and others but for you too, Lord.

Father, I pray for my mom who is having problems with her eyes (glaucoma) that she may not go blind. If that is to be so, help us her children and family to rally around her. Lord, help her as she is still grieving the loss of my dad after some 40 years of marriage. Lord, help her that she may see the good side of him passing, that he is in no more pain but with you, our Father.

Father, help her that she may continue worshiping at church more regularly as she finds all excuses not to go. Father, I think this is her way of dealing with her loss. Merciful Father, I bring before you every member of my family that you will guide them in the way of truth.

I pray now for the world that is in turmoil; it was Israel now it is Libya. Father, I pray that every world leader, whether in a big country or a small island, come to know of you. Lord, help them to remember that there is only one God and that is you. Remind them lest they forget that all power comes from you. Without you, they have none. Lord, I pray for people in the world that they be delivered from the false gods and that they turn to the true and living God.

Lord, I pray against the demons of discontent and war that they be banished from your people. Lord, let calm be restored in these lands. Lord, help us. Lord, protect us. Lord, deliver us. This I ask in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord Jesus I bring our brother to you as an offering. When Noah got out of the ark he offered you a sacrifice whose aroma made you put a covenant with him. Lord hear the aroma of our prayers that when our brother appears for the interview, he will be an aroma irresistible to those conducting it. Lord I trust in you for you never let me down. May the Holy Spirit cover and protect you that nothing goes wrong this time. May the Lord be with you.
