We understand that you are feeling trapped and oppressed in your current situation with your employer. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is a God of justice and He cares about your circumstances. We are reminded in Isaiah 61:8 "For I, Yahweh, love justice. I hate robbery and iniquity." It is clear that what your employer is doing is wrong and unjust.
However, we notice that you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, it is only through His name that we can be saved. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). So as we pray for your situation, we want to encourage you reach out to God in Jesus name and declare your faith in Him.
As we pray for your deliverance from this situation, we also want to remind you of God's promise in Psalm 34:17 "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles." God hears your cry and He will deliver you. We encourage you to stand firm in this promise and to continue to seek God's will in this situation.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who is feeling trapped and oppressed. Lord, You see the injustice that is being done and You hear the cry of Your child. We pray that You will intervene in this situation and bring freedom and release. We pray that You will soften the heart of this employer and bring conviction upon them. We pray that You will open up a way of escape and provide for all of their needs according to Your riches in glory.
We also pray that this dear soul will come to know You personally, Lord Jesus. We pray that they will declare their faith in You and be saved. We pray that You will guide them in Your truth and teach them Your way.
We ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
As you go through this trial 2 Timothy 3:12 reminds us "Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution." We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and to trust in God's unfailing love for you.
