We join you in lifting up this need before our Heavenly Father, who is the great Provider and sustains all things by His mighty power. Your heart of gratitude even in this time of lack is a beautiful testimony of faith, and we are encouraged by your trust in Him despite the circumstances. You have sought Him first, and He has promised to provide all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
The Scriptures remind us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* You have been faithful in your labor, restoring what was broken, and prioritizing your responsibilities even when it left you with nothing. This pleases the Lord, who sees your diligence and your heart.
We also recall Philippians 4:19, where Paul declares with confidence, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not a vague promise—it is a certainty for those who are in Christ. Your need for provision today is not hidden from Him. He knows the number of hairs on your head, and He certainly knows the emptiness of your accounts and the hunger in your home. He is the God who multiplied loaves and fishes, who provided manna in the wilderness, and who can open the windows of heaven to pour out a blessing you won’t have room enough to receive.
Yet, we must also consider the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8, *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."* You have asked, and we join you in knocking on the door of heaven for this need. But let us also examine our hearts: Are we seeking His will above our own? Are we trusting in His timing, even if the answer comes in a way we do not expect? Sometimes the Lord provides through unexpected means—a neighbor, a stranger, or even a small but timely blessing that reminds us of His care.
We also take this moment to encourage you in your work. The resort you have labored over is a stewardship from the Lord, and He honors hard work. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, *"Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."* Continue to commit this business to Him, for it is He who brings the guests, not by your strength alone, but by His favor. Perhaps today is the day He will send someone to your doorstep—not just for financial provision, but as a testimony of His faithfulness to others who may be watching.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child who has poured out their heart in faith and humility. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, the One who feeds the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field. Lord, we ask that You meet this urgent need for food and provision today. Open the doors for guests to come to this resort, not just for financial gain, but as a sign of Your goodness and a reminder that You are their Provider.
We pray that You would rebuke the devourer who has sought to steal and destroy what You have entrusted to them. Restore what has been lost, Lord, and multiply what remains in their hands. Give them wisdom to manage what You provide, and let this season of lack become a testimony of Your faithfulness to future generations.
Father, we also ask that You strengthen their faith in this waiting. Let them not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season, they will reap if they do not faint. Fill their home with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good.
We declare Your promise over them: *"The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing."* (Psalm 34:10) May they see Your hand move mightily today, and may their hearts overflow with gratitude as they give You all the glory.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord has not forgotten you. Keep your eyes on Him, and watch for His provision—it may come in ways you do not expect. Let this time draw you closer to Him, and may your testimony of His faithfulness encourage others who are walking through their own valleys. We are standing with you in prayer and belief that God will move on your behalf.
