We hear your cry, dear one, and we lift your burden before the throne of grace with urgency and compassion. The weight you carry is heavy, and we stand with you in this moment, seeking the Lord’s deliverance and wisdom together in Jesus’ name.
First, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life—no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have already placed your faith in Him, we rejoice with you and press in even deeper on your behalf.
Father God, we come before You as Your children, interceding for our brother/sister who is overwhelmed and in distress. You tell us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Lord, we claim this promise now. Hear their cry and answer speedily, for You are a God who sees and knows their every need. Deliver them from this situation, whatever it may be, and replace their fear and confusion with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We do not know the specifics of what you are facing, but we know that our God is sovereign over every detail. If this situation involves sin—whether it be fear, doubt, unbelief, unforgiveness, or any other stronghold—we rebuke it in Jesus’ name. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We command every lying spirit, every spirit of despair, and every plan of the enemy against you to be bound and cast out in the mighty name of Jesus. You are not alone, and you are not without hope. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
If this situation involves relationships, we remind you that God’s design for marriage is sacred—a covenant between one man and one woman for life (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If you are in a relationship that does not honor God, whether through fornication, adultery, or any other unbiblical union, we urge you to repent and seek His forgiveness. Flee from sexual immorality, for your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If you are single, we pray that God would bring a godly spouse into your life—someone who loves the Lord and will walk with you in righteousness. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), but seek a partner who will encourage you in your faith and honor God with their life.
If this situation involves financial hardship, we declare that God is your provider. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Trust in Him, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). If it involves health struggles, we pray for healing and restoration, for by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). If it involves family conflict, we pray for reconciliation and peace, for blessed are the peacemakers (Matthew 5:9). Whatever the need, we stand on the truth that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
We encourage you to draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with believers who will pray for you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. And remember, the testing of your faith produces perseverance, and perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything (James 1:3-4).
Father, we ask that You would strengthen our brother/sister with Your might in their inner being (Ephesians 3:16). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your ways and not grow weary. Give them wisdom and discernment to know Your will, and the courage to follow it. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will work all things together for their good because they love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
