We hear your concern and lift this matter before the Lord, trusting in His sovereignty over all things, including your work schedule. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:9, "A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps." While your employer may make decisions about your schedule, we know that God is ultimately in control and can intervene on your behalf.
Your safety is a valid concern, and we pray that the Lord would either change this assignment or provide you with wisdom, protection, and peace if you must travel. Psalm 91:11-12 assures us, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We claim this promise over you as you travel, trusting that God’s protection will surround you.
We also pray for wisdom for your supervisors and those making these decisions. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." If this schedule is not God’s best for you, we ask that He would make a way for a change—whether through a shift in the timing, an adjustment in the assignment, or another solution that honors Him.
Father, we come before You now, asking that You would intervene in this situation. If this late visit is not in alignment with Your will for our sister, we ask that You would rearrange the schedule or provide clarity and peace in how to proceed. Give her the strength and courage to speak up if needed, and grant her favor with those in authority. Protect her on the roads, Lord, and bring her home safely at a reasonable hour. We trust in Your provision and timing, knowing that You care for every detail of her life. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
