We hear your heartfelt cry to the Lord, and we join with you in seeking His grace and mercy. It is beautiful that you come before God just as you are, for He indeed accepts us in our brokenness and need. The Word of God assures us, "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth" (Psalm 145:18). We are reminded that God’s love is not earned but freely given, and His promises are sure for those who trust in Him.
However, we must also address a vital truth: acceptance before God is only possible through Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through faith in Him that we are made right with God.
We also encourage you to examine your heart and life in light of Scripture. Are there areas where you may be resisting God’s will or clinging to sin? The Lord calls us to repentance and holiness, for "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). His acceptance of us does not mean He leaves us unchanged—He desires to transform us into the image of His Son.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your face. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears the cries of Your children and draws near to those who call upon You in truth. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, that they may know the depth of Your love and the certainty of Your promises.
Father, we pray that if they have not yet placed their faith in Jesus Christ, that You would open their eyes to see their need for a Savior. Convict their heart of sin, Lord, and lead them to repentance and faith in Your Son. May they experience the forgiveness and new life that comes only through Him.
Lord, we ask that You would deliver them according to Your promises. Your Word says that "no good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly" (Psalm 84:11). We trust in Your faithfulness to fulfill every word You have spoken. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in obedience to Your will.
We also pray for transformation, Father. Where there is sin, bring conviction and repentance. Where there is doubt, bring assurance. Where there is fear, bring Your perfect love that casts out all fear. Mold them into the person You created them to be, for Your glory.
Thank You, Lord, that You are a God who accepts us just as we are, but loves us too much to leave us that way. We trust in Your perfect work in their life, and we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, dear one. Spend time in His Word, for "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path" (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can encourage you in your walk with Christ. And remember, God’s promises are yes and amen in Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20). He is faithful, and He will complete the work He has begun in you.
