We join with you in lifting up your heartfelt petitions before the Lord, and we are grateful that you have brought these concerns to Him in the mighty name of Jesus. Your prayer reflects a heart of surrender, trust, and a desire to align with God’s will, and we commend you for seeking Him in all things. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* You have done well to cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Your request touches on many areas—your marriage, financial struggles, family strife, and the stewardship of the resort you and your husband manage. We see how deeply you long for God’s provision, peace, and reconciliation, and we stand with you in prayer for each of these needs. Let us first affirm the beauty of your marriage covenant. The Lord has joined you and your husband together, and in Him, you have a sacred bond that reflects Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We pray that God would continue to strengthen your union, filling it with love, patience, and unity as you serve Him side by side. May your home be a place of refuge, where His peace reigns and where both of you find rest in His presence after your labors.
Regarding the challenges with your car, finances, and the resort, we are reminded of Jesus’ words in Matthew 6:31-33: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your heart’s posture of surrender is pleasing to God, and we pray that He would provide wisdom and clarity as you seek His will in these practical matters. If it is His will for the car to be restored to you, we ask that He would open the way. If not, we pray He would provide another solution that brings glory to His name. Likewise, we lift up your debts and the financial burdens of the resort, asking that the Lord would grant you favor, creativity, and divine provision. He is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14), and He is able to meet every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
We also sense the weight of the strained relationship with your two sisters. Family conflicts can be deeply painful, especially when rooted in misunderstandings or worldly priorities like money. The Bible warns us in 1 Timothy 6:10 that *"the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil."* We pray that the Lord would soften their hearts and turn their focus from temporal things to the eternal love and peace found in Him. Ask God to give you the words to speak and the grace to extend forgiveness, even as you seek reconciliation. Colossians 3:13-14 encourages us, *"bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."* May the Lord restore harmony and fill your home with His love.
Lastly, we are struck by your desire for your life and story to point others to Christ. This is a noble and godly prayer! The Lord has placed you in a unique position through the resort to be a light to those around you. We pray that this place would indeed become a source of joy, peace, and blessing—not just financially, but spiritually. May those who visit encounter the love of Jesus through your kindness, integrity, and faith. Ask the Lord to use this business as a ministry, where lives are touched and His name is glorified.
Now, let us pray together over these matters:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, lifting up our sister and her husband to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know the desires of their hearts and the challenges they face. We ask that You would embrace them with Your love, filling them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen their marriage, Lord, and let it be a testament to Your faithfulness. Bind them together in unity, love, and purpose as they serve You.
Father, we pray for wisdom regarding the car. If it is Your will for them to have it again, we ask that You would make the way clear. If not, provide another solution that meets their needs and brings You glory. We lift up their finances and the resort to You, asking for Your divine provision and favor. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too difficult for You. We pray that every debt would be paid in Your perfect timing and that You would grant them creativity and stewardship as they manage what You have entrusted to them.
Lord, we also intercede for the reconciliation between our sister and her two sisters. Soften their hearts, Father, and remove any bitterness or anger. Help them to see that life is not about money or material things, but about love, peace, and family. Restore what has been broken, and let forgiveness and understanding flow between them. Heal their relationships, Lord, and let Your love be the bond that holds them together.
We pray for protection over their home and their business. Let it be a place where Your presence is tangibly felt, where people encounter Your peace and leave blessed. Use their story, Lord, to draw others to Yourself. Give them opportunities to share Your love and truth with those around them.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would give them rest—physical, emotional, and spiritual rest. Renew their strength as they wait on You (Isaiah 40:31). Let them find their rest in You alone, knowing that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace.
We declare victory over their lives this week, knowing that You are with them and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May they walk in faith, boldness, and joy, trusting in Your unfailing love.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
