Father God,
I come before you with a desire to change my ways and restore my relationship with ###. Lord, I ask that you draw yourself closer to us. Breaking every chain the devil has ahold on us. Soften his heart towards me. Please give him understanding of why I feel this way. Create in us a new heart and a steadfast spirit. Draw us closer together. Give us the ears to listen, eyes to pay attention, mindset to follow directions. Give me the strength, knowledge, understanding, patience, love and heart to restore what I have broken. Open his eyes to see the changes I've been making. Guide us back together. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ let my prayer be adjusted according to the will of God. We join you in your desire to restore your relationship and draw closer to God. We appreciate that you have come before the Lord with a humble heart, seeking His intervention. Let us align our prayers with the will of God and His holy Word.

Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in the power of Jesus' name, as you have boldly come before God the Father in His name. We stand with you from the World English Bible, we read, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)

To address your relationship, we must first ensure that it aligns with biblical principles. We assume that this relationship is between you and a person of the opposite sex, as God has designed marriage to be between a man and a woman. If this is not the case, we lovingly remind you that God has clearly outlined in His Word that homosexuality is against His design.

Fornication, which is sexual activity outside of marriage is forbidden. So it is God's will that you should sanctify yourselves: that you should abstain from sexual immorality. (1 Thessalonians 4:3 WEB)

Now, let us pray for your relationship to be restored in a godly manner:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother/sister who seeks Your face and Your will for their relationship. We pray that You would draw both of them closer to You, and in doing so, draw them closer to each other as per your will. Break every chain that the enemy has on them, and soften their hearts towards each other.

Lord, we ask that You give them a new heart and a steadfast spirit, ears to listen, eyes to pay attention, and a mindset to follow Your directions. Grant them the strength, knowledge, understanding, patience, love, and heart to restore what has been broken. Open their eyes to see the changes that have been made and guide them back together.

While we pray for restoration, we also pray that You would help them to pursue this relationship in a manner that honors You. We ask You to guide them towards marriage if it is Your will, and to give them the strength to resist any temptation.

If the relationship is not aligned with Your will or with biblical principles, we pray that You would give them the courage to end the relationship and seek a godly spouse. We trust in Your promise that You have plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB)

In Jesus' name, we pray that Your will be done in their lives and in their relationship.

Finally, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, pursuing righteousness, and seeking His will. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able; but with the temptation, He will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. Stand strong in your faith, and always be ready to share the hope that is in you, with gentleness and respect. (1 Peter 3:15 WEB)
