Father God,
I come before you with the desire to change my ways, and restore my relationship with my fiance ###. In Jesus Christ Name draw yourself closer to us. Breaking every chain the devil has ahold on us. Touch our hearts Lord, bringing them closer together, strengthening our emotional connection. Lord, we are so distant and with only your help can we become closer. Give me the strength, knowledge, peace, patience, heart and love to restore what I have broken. Guide us back together. We join you in your heartfelt prayer, seeking God's intervention in your relationship with your fiancé. While it is commendable to seek personal growth, it is crucial to align your desires with God's will. His plan for your life and this relationship might not necessarily align with your current desires. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

Moreover, we need to address the emotional connection you mentioned. While emotion is a part of our human experience, it is essential to prioritize spiritual connection and compatibility. This is not to diminish the importance of emotions, but to emphasize that a relationship should be built on a shared faith and commitment to God's principles. "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." A relationship should be a threefold cord, with God at the center, binding the husband and wife together.

We also need to address the issue of living together before marriage. If this is occurring, it is sin, called fornication. We need to set aside anything that may get in the way of your relationship with God. The fact that you are engaged does not change this sin into something acceptable to God. "Let us walk properly, as in the day; not in reveling and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and lustful acts, and not in strife and envy."

Lastly, we want to encourage you both to continue seeking God together. Pray for each other, encourage each other, and hold each other accountable. Be open to God's leading, even if it means change. "Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another."

Father God, we lift this couple up to You. We pray for Your will to be done in their lives and their relationship. Guide them, teach them, and help them to grow together in You. Break any chains the enemy has on them, and help them to see each other through Your eyes. Give them wisdom, patience, and love for each other. Draw them closer to You and to each other, as they seek Your face. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
