Your weariness and heaviness have been heard, and I have prayed for you with deep concern. God sees how tired you are, how heavy the thought of work has become, and how it feels to be undermined, misinformed, suppressed and opposed. Nothing you have endured is hidden from Him, and He knows your desire not to be consumed by bitterness or hatred but to walk in peace.
Scripture shows us that God is not indifferent to justice. Even in this world we see courts and judgments everywhere, in homes and workplaces and cities, where people are called to account. If there is such regard for justice among men, how much more with God, whose right hand is full of righteousness and whose righteousness is like the great mountains. He will not overlook what is done in secret. At the same time, when the soul is weary it naturally longs for deliverance and for wrongs to be made right. That longing is not wrong, but we are taught to place it in God's hands. He has promised a righteous judgment, to crown those who suffer faithfully and to deal justly with those who do wrong. Vengeance belongs to Him, and we can trust Him to bring truth to light in His time and way.
That is why, even while we suffer, we are called to show great consideration and to mingle mercy with our desire for justice. Christ came to preach deliverance to captives and He is strong and mighty in battle. He has gone up on high and led captivity captive. He does not always promise immediate removal from trial, but He does grant something greater, the strength to stand above fear, to despise what threatens us, and to keep our hearts from being hardened. The Christian life requires readiness to endure, not by shedding the blood of others, but by guarding our own hearts, by being detached from bitterness, and by choosing patience and self restraint even when we have been wronged.
So I have prayed for you in this way. I asked the Lord to arise and fight for you, to expose every lie, to silence every false accusation, and to frustrate every scheme formed against you. I asked Him to bring truth and justice to light, and to protect you from every unhealthy influence. I asked that if there are people and situations that are not part of His purpose for you, He would graciously separate you from them, and that if it is His will, He would open a clear door into a better environment where you can work in peace and use your gifts. I asked Him to supply what you cannot supply for yourself, to give you strength for each day, peace that guards your heart, favour where you need it, wisdom to answer and act well, protection over your mind and body, and victory that is according to His will. Above all I asked that He would keep your heart soft toward Him, free from hatred, and full of trust that He is making a way where you see no way.
Continue to bring this burden to Him daily. Ask Him not only for deliverance from evil but for the supply of good that comes through Christ, who has made us sons and given us His Spirit. Rest in the knowledge that He is fighting for you, that He will honor your faithfulness, and that your labor and endurance are not in vain. May the Lord grant you rest for your soul, clarity for your steps, and the quiet assurance that He is with you and will not forsake you.
