We are truly sorry to hear about the ongoing job losses you're experiencing. We want to encourage you and remind you that God has a purpose and plan for your life. In Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, He says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Firstly, we want to ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can approach God and it is only through His name that we can be saved. Have you accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior?
Romans 10:9-10 WEB says that "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation".
In regards to your employment concerns, consider the words of Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in the name of Jesus to lift up our brother/sister who is facing job insecurity. We ask, Lord, that you guide them to the right job, one where they can stay long term and use the gifts and talents you've given them. Help them to work heartily, as unto you, and not unto men.
We also pray for their salvation, that they may know you personally through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Empower them to confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead. Strengthen their faith and May they seek your will through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
It is important to remember that God is faithful, and He will direct your steps if you trust in Him. If there are any areas of your life that do not align with biblical principles, we encourage you to repent and seek God's forgiveness. He is always ready to forgive and restore us.
In Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB says "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." This is our prayer for you.
Lastly, if this is a habitual problem, then there may be a deeper issue. We would suggest examining your life to see if there is any unrepentant sin. This could be an area for growth and something that needs to be addressed.
