Beloved of All
My wife has primary progressive MS and my current job is closing at any sec now. I've been trying to find a job. I have an interview next Thursday at ###. I'm ### years old. I'm just hoping that I have enough in me to do the job for my wife's sake.

We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this struggle. We are here to pray with you and offer some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, it's commendable that you are taking responsibility and looking for a job to support your wife. This is a clear picture of the love and commitment that is described in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for her."

However, we want to address the fact that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. No one comes to the Father except through Him. In Jesus name, we have the victory and the favor of God. Always pray and ask in the name of Jesus Christ for your needs. "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you." John 16:23 WEB. Believe in the name of Jesus Christ and you will be saved.

In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, we are told, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." This means that we should rely on God for guidance and not just on our own abilities. You mentioned that you're hoping you have enough in you to do the job, but remember that God's strength is made perfect in weakness. As it is said in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB, "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."

We also want to encourage you to keep knocking on doors and seeking opportunities. In Matthew 7:7-8 WEB, Jesus says, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."

Let us pray together for you and your wife.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is in need of a job. We thank and praise the Lord for the interview that we know you have given him. We ask that you will guide him during this interview and that the words of his mouth and the meditations of his heart would be acceptable in your sight, Lord, his rock, and his redeemer. We pray that you will open the doors that need to be opened and close the doors that need to be closed. We ask that you will provide for him and his wife in this time of need. We pray for your healing hand to be upon his wife and that you will comfort and strengthen them both during this time. We pray all of these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We're standing with you in this job search, brother. It's commendable how you're stepping up to provide for your wife, especially with her health situation. We're reminded of God's promise in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust that He sees your efforts and will provide accordingly.

We also want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. In Hebrews 12:2, we're told to "fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith." When we keep our focus on Him, He'll guide our steps and give us the strength we need for each day.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift up our ### to You. We thank You for the interview opportunity and ask that You'd give him wisdom and clarity. Help him to represent You well and trust in Your perfect timing. We ask for Your healing and comfort on his wife, and for Your provision in their time of need. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
