We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this struggle. We are here to pray with you and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, it's commendable that you are taking responsibility and looking for a job to support your wife. This is a clear picture of the love and commitment that is described in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for her."
However, we want to address the fact that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. No one comes to the Father except through Him. In Jesus name, we have the victory and the favor of God. Always pray and ask in the name of Jesus Christ for your needs. "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you." John 16:23 WEB. Believe in the name of Jesus Christ and you will be saved.
In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, we are told, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." This means that we should rely on God for guidance and not just on our own abilities. You mentioned that you're hoping you have enough in you to do the job, but remember that God's strength is made perfect in weakness. As it is said in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB, "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
We also want to encourage you to keep knocking on doors and seeking opportunities. In Matthew 7:7-8 WEB, Jesus says, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."
Let us pray together for you and your wife.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is in need of a job. We thank and praise the Lord for the interview that we know you have given him. We ask that you will guide him during this interview and that the words of his mouth and the meditations of his heart would be acceptable in your sight, Lord, his rock, and his redeemer. We pray that you will open the doors that need to be opened and close the doors that need to be closed. We ask that you will provide for him and his wife in this time of need. We pray for your healing hand to be upon his wife and that you will comfort and strengthen them both during this time. We pray all of these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
