We understand your distress and share in your burden for the state of our nation and its leaders. It is crucial to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). We are called to pray for our leaders, even when we disagree with their actions or policies.
Firstly, we must address the use of the name "Yahshua" and "Yahweh." While we understand that these names are used with reverence, the Bible teaches us that salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved except for Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12 WEB). We encourage you to use the name of Jesus Christ in your prayers, as it is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9 WEB).
Let us turn to the Word of God for guidance. The Bible instructs us to pray for our leaders and those in authority. "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEB).
We are also reminded in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Our focus should be on praying for justice, mercy, and salvation for all, including our leaders.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our nation and its leaders to You. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance to be upon them. Lord, we pray that You would expose any corruption, lies, and false accusations. Bring truth and justice to light, and let Your will be done in our nation as it is in heaven.
We pray for Your mercy and grace to be upon Your people. Protect us from persecution and false charges. Strengthen us to stand firm in our faith, and help us to be a light in the darkness. We ask for Your healing and restoration for our land.
Lord Jesus, we thank You for being our justice and our salvation. We look forward to Your return and the restoration of all things. Until that day, help us to be faithful witnesses of Your love and truth.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Let us continue to trust in the Lord and His sovereign plan. "The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires." (Proverbs 21:1 WEB). Our hope is in Christ alone, and we must remain steadfast in our faith, knowing that He is our ultimate justice and salvation.
