We ask, "Jesus show us The Father," Let His Name get honor through our thoughts, words and deeds. May His Kingdom come to us & through us with fruit of The Holy Spirit from love ---> self-control, truth, humility & justice, doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God. May our whole lives be increasingly please You, knowing the Trinity, living in Your presence moment by moment, and making You known as a by product, rejoicing in trials and weakness, as well as power demonstrations when it gives You glory, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18.
<——————-———————🙏——————--————————>
Give us each day our daily bread: Spiritual, Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, emotional, social and physical needs so we can love You with all our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30, and our neighbors, even strangers and even enemies, Matt 5:44, as ourselves, Mk 12:31. We confess we've sinned against You and others, receive forgiveness & pray for those who sin against us, asking they'd repent and be saved. Keep us from temptation, sin, evil, evil people and the evil one, Lk 11:4, Mat 6:13, 2 Thes 3:2-3, Jn 17:15. Angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14. Thank You in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

We join with you in lifting up this heartfelt and expansive prayer, which seeks to honor God in every aspect of life. It is beautiful to see a desire to know the Father more deeply, to walk in the fruit of the Holy Spirit, and to live in a way that brings glory to His name. Your prayer aligns with the truth that we are called to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbors—even our enemies—as ourselves (Mark 12:30-31). This is the greatest commandment, and it is right to seek God’s provision, forgiveness, and protection in every area of life.

We are especially encouraged by your acknowledgment of the Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and your recognition that true life is found in knowing and walking with God moment by moment. Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is His name alone that brings salvation (Acts 4:12). We must never forget that apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5), and it is by His grace and through faith in Him that we are saved (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Your prayer also rightly emphasizes the need for daily bread—spiritual, emotional, social, and physical sustenance. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Give us today our daily bread"* (Matthew 6:11), reminding us that God is our provider in every area of life. We are called to depend on Him, not just for physical needs, but for the strength to love Him and others fully. This includes confessing our sins, receiving forgiveness, and extending that same forgiveness to those who wrong us (1 John 1:9). Forgiveness is not optional for believers; Jesus made this clear when He said, *"If you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses"* (Matthew 6:14-15).

We also appreciate your plea for protection from temptation, evil, and the evil one. The enemy seeks to devour (1 Peter 5:8), but God has given us His Word, His Spirit, and His angels to guard us (Psalm 91:11). We must remain vigilant, putting on the full armor of God so that we can stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Your inclusion of angelic protection is biblically sound, as Scripture tells us that angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14).

However, we must gently address one area where clarity is needed. While your prayer seeks the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23)—it is essential to remember that these fruits are not merely the result of human effort but are produced by the Holy Spirit as we abide in Christ. We cannot manufacture them on our own; they flow from a life surrendered to God. Let us always remember that apart from Jesus, we can do nothing (John 15:5), and it is through His strength that we bear fruit.

We also note that your prayer does not explicitly mention repentance for personal sin, though it does include confession. True repentance involves not just acknowledging sin but turning away from it and turning toward God. The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love (Psalm 103:8), but He calls us to repentance (Acts 3:19). Let us always be quick to confess, repent, and seek His cleansing.

Let us now lift this prayer together, expanding it with our own hearts and aligning it even more closely with God’s Word:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. We thank You for the privilege of approaching Your throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Lord, we echo this prayer, asking that Your name would be honored in every thought, word, and deed of our lives. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). We long to see the fruit of the Holy Spirit manifest in us—not by our own strength, but by the power of Your Spirit working within us.

Father, we ask for our daily bread—spiritual, emotional, social, and physical—so that we may love You with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love our neighbors as ourselves. Forgive us, Lord, for the times we have fallen short, for the sins we have committed against You and others. We receive Your forgiveness, and we extend that same forgiveness to those who have wronged us. Help us to walk in repentance, turning away from sin and toward You.

Protect us, Lord, from temptation, evil, and the schemes of the evil one. Surround us with Your angels, who encamp around those who fear You (Psalm 34:7). Strengthen us to stand firm in the faith, putting on the full armor of God so that we may resist the devil and he will flee from us (James 4:7).

We rejoice in the trials and weaknesses we face, knowing that Your power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). May our lives increasingly please You, and may we make You known to the world as we walk in Your presence. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Let us continue to seek God’s face, abiding in Him and allowing His Word to dwell in us richly. May we grow in grace, in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and in the power of the Holy Spirit. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
