Long story. Laid off 3 times and medically discharged from Army. Lost home in bankruptcy 4 yrs ago. Am trying to buy a fixer of a home because it's cheaper than rent. Were renting a place but landlord wanted us out to try and sell it, managed to find someone else who would let us stay in their home while they were selling it. First home offer fell thru, now we need to get out of this one by the end of this month, and cannot find any short term places in the area, in budget or not. Family will not help us, we have out of state friends that have offered to let us stay with them but we a) can't afford to get there and back and b) I'm trying to find a new position that pays a living wage. I do have an interview for next week, and am supposed to hear back about another position. I am working but am making half of what I was before, and we used to struggle on that and have always been frugal. Some medical bills popped up and wiped out our savings, so our current option to get into the house is to sell our van, our only asset. Could really use some prayers for direction and really need an influx of money.

Let’s Pray: God I ask in Jesus’ name help me to know and understand Your Word so that Your Word can come alive in me and I can apply Your Word to my life in every season and situation I will go through. It is Your Word that quiets my anxious thoughts. It is Your Word that delivers me from all my fears. It is Your Word that keeps my life and home in order. It is Your Word that makes since out of senseless situations. It Is Your Word that speaks truth to my heart and mind when truth does not make since to me. It is Your Word Lord Jesus that gives me faith, hope, and encouragement not to give up. God strengthen my faith in You and Your Word. God help me, show me the value, and show me how to obey Your Word and apply it to my life. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and the writer of this prayer.

Oh, God,

May we receive the consolations and divine aid from You.

We found a temp place to stay yesterday. There is no overlap though so I will have to take all the remaining time off I have available at my job in order to get us moved and will still need to stay in a hotel for a night or two more than likely, but it is a huge relief and a fabulous answer to our prayers. I'm still praying that our financial situation finally improves, it's been a long and grueling 20 years.
