Beloved of All
Long back story, but one of my closest friends has really started falling away from God for the past couple of years and has gotten himself into an addiction to Marijuana. He is sinking quickly into deep depression and struggles just to make it through every day. When he tries to work on the pot problem, he falls back into terrible relationships- mostly for the sex-with other girls. He is in a spiral and needs to turn to God because He is the only one who can really give him the hope and strength he needs. He really needs to go to a rehab program to really get his life on track, and start seeing the value in his own life. He is truly one of the most incredible men I have ever met and if he breaks out of Satan’s chains he can do some truly incredible things for the kingdom of God! I have written down some specific prayer requests, and I am asking for it to happen within the next 5 months- long story but the breakthrough just really, really needs to happen and his parents are about to kick him out and his friends are starting to turn their backs because he is hurting everyone so bad. I know God has plans for him that don’t involve him killing himself or doing any of this stuff! It has all been going on for almost three years now and it’s just time for God to have the victory in this battle! If you could please pray for these things and whatever else God may lay on your heart I would appreciate it so much:
In the next couple months:
That Sam would recognize Christ as his way to find victory over his life and that he would put Christ at the center of his life!
Protection over Sam's life-that no harm would come-even self afflicted
New hope in Christ!
That fear would no longer control Sam's life!
That Sam's fears would be replaced with faith!
That all of the bonds Satan has over Sam would be broken and any demons he has allowed to have control would be bound to the foot of the Cross!
Declaring freedom in Sam's life, in Jesus’ name!
That Sam would stop “filling the void†with girls and sex and sin
That Sam would find the courage and the strength to get professional help for his addictions and depression. That the right program would have a spot for him and that he would be willing to go.
That Sam would begin to set attainable goals and begin to dream again and work towards them.
That Sam would see his worth in Christ and learn to truly love himself!
