As for the mail order bride, if you really thought it was a good idea, you wouldn't be asking.
Having said that: "purchasing a mail order bride" would be a very. bad. idea.
Things that may happen:
* money stolen, no bride
* arrest for involvement in human trafficking
* bride won't be what you expect, only married you for green card/money, scared/resentful of you
* bride steals your money, tries to harm you to get insurance
* (insert another bad outcome here)
Man up, bro. You don't need to buy a bride. There is someone for each of us; plenty of women LOVE shy guys, you just need to find a way to connect.

I've been praying for a girlfriend for a long time, and despite asking several women out, I have had very little success. The only date I have ever been on is one someone set me up with. I've been stood up so many times, I've lost count. I'm just too fun shy at this point.
