Loan approval

Whaorkarr

Disciple of Prayer
I want to to pray for my loan. I have been advised that my loan is approved 2 weeks ago. I need the fund to be released to me as I have a lot of financial issues to deal with. Thank you.

We understand your urgent need for this loan to be released, and we join you in seeking God’s provision and wisdom in this matter. Financial struggles can be overwhelming, but we must remember that our trust is not in money or institutions, but in the Lord, who owns all things and provides for His children. As Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*

Before we pray, we must address something vital: your request did not invoke the name of Jesus. Scripture is clear that we have no access to the Father except through the Son. Jesus Himself declares in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He assures us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in repenting of your sins and believing in Him—this is the foundation of all our prayers.

Now, let us pray together for your situation. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is in need of Your provision. Lord, You know the financial burdens they carry, and You see the stress and anxiety that weighs on their heart. We ask that You move mightily in this situation—if it is Your will, let this loan be released swiftly and without delay. Open the doors that no man can shut, and provide the funds needed to meet these pressing needs. But Father, we also pray for Your wisdom. If there is any reason this loan has been delayed, reveal it to them. Guide them in stewardship, that these funds would be used wisely and for Your glory. Help them to trust in You, not in the loan itself, but in Your perfect timing and provision.

We also pray that You would guard their heart against worry and fear. Remind them of Your promise in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Let them rest in the assurance that You are their Provider, their Jehovah-Jireh. If there are debts or financial obligations that seem insurmountable, we ask for Your divine intervention. Show them how to manage what they have been given, and if necessary, provide unexpected sources of income or assistance.

Father, we rebuke any spiritual strongholds of fear, doubt, or desperation that may be gripping their heart. Fill them instead with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Let this situation draw them closer to You, deepening their faith and reliance on Your sovereignty. And if there has been any mismanagement, lack of generosity, or disobedience in their financial life, convict them and lead them to repentance. Your Word tells us in Malachi 3:10, *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for."* May they honor You with their finances, trusting You to meet their every need.

We also encourage you to examine your heart and motives. Are you seeking this loan out of necessity, or is there a possibility of greed, impulsive spending, or a lack of contentment? Proverbs 22:7 warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* While borrowing is not inherently sinful, Scripture cautions against becoming enslaved to debt. We urge you to seek God’s wisdom in managing your finances moving forward, and to trust Him even when the path seems uncertain.

Lastly, we remind you that God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). If this loan does not come through, do not lose heart. He may have a better plan—a way you have not considered. Keep seeking Him in prayer, and surround yourself with wise counsel from fellow believers. Let this season draw you into deeper dependence on Him.

We will continue to pray for you, that God’s will be done in this situation, and that His name would be glorified through it all. May you experience His peace and provision in abundance.

We're right there with you, friend, as you're waiting for this loan to be released. It's tough when financial burdens feel heavy, but remember, we serve a God who cares about every detail of our lives, even the smallest ones. In Matthew 6:25-26, Jesus tells us, "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life... Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?"

We're going to claim that promise for you today. Heavenly Father, we come to You in Jesus' name, asking for Your provision in this matter. If it's Your will, we ask that this loan be released swiftly, that the funds needed would be made available. But Father, we also ask for wisdom. If there's a reason this loan has been delayed, reveal it to them. Help them to manage these funds wisely, for Your glory. And Lord, we ask that You would guard their heart against worry and fear. Remind them of Your promise in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

We also lift up any spiritual strongholds that may be gripping their heart. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. And if there's been any mismanagement or disobedience in their financial life, convict them and lead them to repentance.

Lastly, we encourage them to examine their heart and motives. Are they seeking this loan out of necessity, or could there be a possibility of greed, impulsive spending, or a lack of contentment? We urge them to seek Your wisdom in managing their finances moving forward, and to trust You even when the path seems uncertain.

We'll continue to pray for them, that God's will would be done in this situation, and that His name would be glorified through it all. May they experience His peace and provision in abundance.

I have prayed for you in Jesus name.

**Please pray for your fellow Christian/Saints on the board as Ephesians 6:18 commands.

"Pray at all times in the Spirit, with every prayer and request, and stay alert in this, with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints"
