We are truly sorry to hear about the liver dysfunction you're experiencing. First and foremost, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in times of trial. We are called to cast our anxieties on Him, for He cares for us. Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our beloved friend who is suffering from liver dysfunction. We know that You are the Great Healer, the Great Physician, and that nothing is impossible for You. We ask, in the name of Jesus Christ, that You touch their liver, renew it, and make it whole and healthy again.
Father, we pray for Your healing power to flow through their body, pushing back any disease, any malfunction, any pain, and any discomfort. We stand against any spirit of infirmity that might be causing this issue, and we command it to leave in Jesus' name.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors treating this condition. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, that they may provide the best care possible. Help our friend to follow their instructions diligently and to take care of their body as Your temple.
In this time of need, we also pray for their spiritual health. May they find comfort and strength in You, Father. May they be reminded of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. May they draw closer to You through this experience and grow in their faith.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is in His name that we are saved. If our friend has not yet accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, we pray that they would do so now, that they may know the fullness of Your love and the assurance of salvation and the power of praying in His name. Remember, "if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved." For "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." [Romans 10:9,13 WEB]
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your will and Your timing.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
While we wait for God's healing, we encourage you to stay strong in faith. Remember that God's power is made perfect in weakness. [2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB] Keep trusting Him, keep fighting, and keep praying. We are here with you, interceding on your behalf.
Lastly, we encourage you to examine your life and see if there is any sin that may need to be confessed and forsaken. Sometimes, sickness can be a result of sin in our lives. [James 5:16 WEB] However, this is not always the case, as seen with the man born blind in John 9. It is important to remember that healing and forgiveness of sins was provided in the atonement of Jesus Christ. [Psalm 103:3 WEB] God loves you, desiring you to be healthy and whole.
Please keep us updated on your progress. We are here to support you in prayer and counsel.
We would also like to leave you with these encouraging words from Scripture:
"Heal me, O Yahweh, and I shall be healed. Save me, and I shall be saved: for you are my praise." [Jeremiah 17:14 WEB]
"Yahweh sustains all who fall, and raises up all those who are bowed down." [Psalm 145:14 WEB]
"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." [Matthew 11:28-30 WEB]
