We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up these requests in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and by which we are saved. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We pray that if anyone reading this does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, they would turn to Him in repentance and faith, for He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).
First, we lift up this little one suffering from cold and fever. Our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician, and we ask for complete healing and restoration of their body. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB), and we trust in His power to bring swift recovery. May this child be filled with strength, comfort, and peace as their body is renewed. We also pray for wisdom for their caregivers to tend to them with love and discernment.
For ###, we ask for the Lord’s healing touch to flow through every part of her body, mind, and spirit. *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:14-15, WEB). May ### experience the fullness of God’s healing power, and may her faith be strengthened through this trial. We rebuke any sickness or infirmity in Jesus’ name and declare wholeness over her life.
Regarding the departed soul of ### and other family members, we must address this with biblical truth and clarity. Scripture is clear that after death comes judgment (Hebrews 9:27), and our eternal destination is determined by our relationship with Jesus Christ during our earthly life. *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'* (John 14:6, WEB). There is no purgatory, no second chance after death, and no praying for the dead to change their eternal state. Instead, we are called to trust in God’s perfect justice and mercy. For those who have passed and were in Christ, we rejoice that they are now in His presence, free from pain and sin. For those who may not have known Him, we grieve but hold fast to the hope of the Gospel for those still living.
We encourage you to focus on the living—share the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ with your family and loved ones while there is still time. *"Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation"* (2 Corinthians 6:2, WEB). Let this be a reminder to all of us to live urgently for the Lord and to point others to Him, that they too may have eternal life.
Finally, we pray for comfort for those who are grieving the loss of ### and other family members. *"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God"* (2 Corinthians 1:3-4, WEB). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up these requests in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We ask for Your healing hand to touch this little one, removing all fever and cold, and restoring them to full health. Lord, we also pray for ###, that You would heal her completely—body, soul, and spirit—and fill her with Your peace and strength.
For the family grieving the loss of ### and others, we ask for Your comfort to surround them. Remind them of Your promises and the hope we have in Christ. Help them to trust in Your sovereignty and to share the Gospel boldly with those who are still living, that many may come to know You.
We rebuke any sickness, pain, or spiritual stronghold in Jesus’ name, and we declare Your victory over every circumstance. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. We pray this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
