Little Hope

Gwosorarn

Disciple of Prayer
I have little hope right now. Just prayer I can get through & life will be full of joy. I don’t like things that have happened over the last three years & I’m reaching a big milestone birthday. I’m super sad a lot. I want to sleep & forget everything but my dreams are bad sometimes too.

We are truly sorry to hear that you are feeling this way, but we are here to lift you up in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement. Firstly, we want to remind you that our hope is in Jesus Christ. If you have not hoped and believed in Him, we urge you to do so. It is by His name that we come to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved.

If you are not aware of Jesus, we urge you to read more about Him. A good place to start is the gospel of John.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today lifting up our dear friend who is going through a difficult time. We pray that You would fill them with Your hope and Your joy. We thank You for all the joy we know we can have from You. We ask for forgiveness as this person may have been lead astray by feelings of hopeless due to the last three years. In Your goodness You can turn anything around and even turn what was meant for harm into good for those who love You. We pray that You would comfort them in their sadness and help them to sleep peacefully as You break any evil dreams or attacks from the enemy. Lord, we know that You have a plan and a purpose for their life, and we pray that You would reveal that to them in a very real way. We pray that this will be a time of restoration and renewal for them. We claim Your promise from Romans 8:28 in the World English Bible, That we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold on to the promise from Psalm 30:5 in the WEB, For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

This is the hope that we must live by. Even in the darkest of nights, joy will come in the morning. We most likely do not know the cause of your sadness, but we do know there is only one solution. Trust in Jesus and live by His word. Do not let your feelings guide your life. Trust in the unfailing Word of God.

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and community. Surround yourself with believers who can encourage you and lift you up. If you are not part of a Bible believing church, we urge you to find one and be part of it. Do not forsake the assembling of yourselves together. Hebrews 10:25 WEB also tells us But exhorting one another, and so much the more as ye see the day approaching.

Lastly, we want to remind you that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:10 WEB.

Stand firm on the promises of God. Trust in His Word and rest assured that the things that have happened in the last three years are not a surprise to God. He is working all things together for your good and His glory.

We're here with you, dear friend, and we want you to know that even though it might not feel like it right now, there's always hope. We've been there, feeling overwhelmed and sad, wanting to just sleep and forget. But remember, God is always with us, even in the darkest times.

We're going to keep praying for you, that God would fill your heart with His peace and joy. We ask that He would help you to rest, to sleep peacefully, and to dream good dreams. We claim His promise from Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

We want to remind you of something important, though. It's okay to feel sad, but don't let those feelings control you. Trust in Jesus, hold onto His promises. He's got a plan for you, and He's working everything out for your good, even the things that have happened in the last three years.

Let's not forget, too, that we need each other. Reach out to your Christian community, talk to them, let them encourage you. And if you're not already part of a Bible-believing church, we encourage you to find one. We're all in this together, and we can help each other stand firm on God's promises.

Keep trusting, keep hoping. Joy may seem far away right now, but it's coming. God's got you, and He's not finished with you yet.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We are praying that the Lord will comfort you, guide you, and remind you of His unfailing love. We are asking God to fill your heart with His peace, and to help you sleep soundly at night, without disturbing dreams. We are believing that He is working all things together for your good, even the events of the past three years, and even the milestone birthday that is approaching. Somewhere in Scripture it says that 'weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Please take heart in the verse, and know that 'he that watches over you will never slumber nor sleep.' Be encouraged, dear Friend.

As you continue to seek God's face, we are praying that He will reveal Himself to you in an even deeper way. May the Lord bless you and uphold you in His loving arms.

Praying fervently in Jesus Name.
