No doubt down through the ages, many of us have heard or even sung this children's song. This song truly remind us of the goodness of Jesus.

As we troll through the many, many prayer request and other concerns posted on this site and countness others, our heart goes out as we feel so helpless as we read the different plights of life the so many are experiencing.

We too were drawn to this prayer request site because of " a mountain in our lives", only to find that there are countless other people with situations that they deem "urgent and life threatening", and rightfully so.

I thank God that He is a God that does not have "any respect of person". Every concern is important to God. May it be the "widow with a lost coin", or a "Man sick unto death which God granted 15 more years" God truly answers pray. Not always in a manner that we might envision, but in a way that you will be able to "Give Him the Glory" when all is said and done. God answers pray three ways..., Yes..., No..., and Wait.

As I reflect on my years of praying, (and communicating with God) there are some prayers that I am glad that He did not answer... Also, as in the words of many saints long gone before me, "...Many times we are crying with a loaf of bread under our arm".

So today, I say to myself, "...Hush Lil Baby Don't You Cry". as God's Word has never failed. And a great prayer life begins with me. Not at the point of my keyboard, but down on my Knees. In our life of modern conveniences many of us resorted to "Dial a Prayer Mentality", but it does not take the place of culivating a personal relationship with Jesus...

At a very low point in my life, while in a church service, I requested prayer, and what the preacher convailed to me cause me to anger, as his reply (without compassion) was, "....Surely we will prayer for you..., but YOU need to learn to pray for yourself."

God Word declares that we are to pray for one another. And I believe that many of the things that God allows us to "go through" are just signs or reflections of what we need to pray for in the life of others worldwide. If you are sick tonight, pray for the other people in the world that are experiencing "like symptoms." If you are experiencing (God forbid) eviction or foreclosure, prayer that God will move in the lives of other that are experincing like situations.

It all goes back to the principle of "Seed Time and Harvest". and the Biblical principle of Giving and Receiving. You only can expect to harvest, of that which you have PLANTED. Truly this is what Jesus meant when He said "Pray Ye One For Another".
