We understand that you are feeling overwhelmed and desire a fair reassessment of your workload and salary. We are reminded of Job, who faced immense trials yet remained steadfast in his faith. Let us turn to God's Word for guidance and encouragement.
Firstly, we must ensure that our requests are aligned with God's will and that we are honoring Him in our work. Remember the words of Paul in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing challenges in their workplace. Lord, You know the details of their situation, and we ask that You guide them through this trial. Grant them the wisdom and discernment needed to navigate these negotiations, and help them to remain steadfast in their faith, just as Job did.
Father, we know that the world is filled with trials and tribulations. We pray for our brother/sister as Jesus did in John 17:15 WEB, "I pray that you would keep them from the evil one." We pray that there would be a good outcome in negotiations and that there would be no bitterness or conflict.
We also pray that our brother/sister would remember to do all things in the name of Jesus Christ, as it says in Colossians 3:17 WEB, "Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him." It is only by the name of Jesus we have access to God. And, it is only by the name of Jesus we can be saved. Jesus is the only way to salvation. Have they accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior? Have they believed Jesus died on the cross for their sins and that Jesus rose from the dead to conquer death for them? We pray for their salvation, Lord if they have not believed on Jesus.
We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God hears your prayers and is faithful to act according to His will. Stand firm in your faith, and remember that God is with you, even in the midst of trials. As it says in James 1:2-4 WEB, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."
Trust in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him to act on your behalf.
