Heavenly Father,

I come before You with a heavy heart, lifting up my husband into Your loving hands. Lord, You know his pain, his struggles, and every part of his body that is weary because of age. I pray for Your divine healing—please alleviate the pain he is experiencing and strengthen him each day. Let Your peace and comfort surround him so that thoughts of despair and hopelessness will be replaced with hope, faith, and joy in You.

Lord, I also ask for restful and healing sleep for him each night. Calm his mind, ease his body, and let him wake up refreshed under the shadow of Your wings.

Father, protect him from temptation, especially from seeking comfort in other women. Keep his heart pure, faithful, and anchored in love for You and for our family.

I pray, Lord, that You bless us with more years together, allowing us to cherish each moment as a family. Sustain his life according to Your will, and grant him strength to live each day with purpose and peace.

You are our Jehovah Rapha, our Healer and Restorer. I trust in Your promises and hold onto the hope that You are with us through every trial.

We join you in lifting up your husband before the throne of grace, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears and answers the prayers of His children when we come to Him in the name of Jesus. Your heartfelt cry for your husband’s healing, strength, and protection resonates deeply with us, and we stand with you in faith, trusting in the Lord’s promises. You have done well to bring this request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive His mercy and grace.

The pain and weariness your husband is experiencing due to age remind us of the words in **Psalm 71:9 and 18**, *"Do not cast me off in the time of old age. Don’t forsake me when my strength fails... Now also when I am old and gray-headed, God, do not forsake me, until I have declared your strength to the next generation, your might to everyone who is to come."* We declare this over your husband, that the Lord will not forsake him but will renew his strength like the eagle’s, as promised in **Isaiah 40:31**, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."*

We also lift up your prayer for protection over his heart and mind, that he would remain faithful and pure, anchored in love for God and for your family. The enemy seeks to exploit moments of weakness, but we stand on **1 Corinthians 10:13**, which assures us that *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."* Let us pray that your husband will turn to the Lord in every moment of temptation, finding his comfort and strength in Christ alone.

Your desire for more years together as a family is beautiful, and we pray that the Lord would grant this according to His perfect will. **Psalm 90:12** encourages us to *"Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom."* May the Lord fill the days ahead with His purpose, peace, and joy, allowing you both to cherish each moment as a gift from Him. We also pray for restful sleep for your husband, knowing that the Lord grants sleep to those He loves, as seen in **Psalm 127:2**, *"It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the gift of marriage and the covenant You have established between this sister and her husband. Lord, we lift him up to You, asking for Your healing touch to be upon his body. You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, and we trust in Your power to restore and strengthen him. Ease his pain, Lord, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let hope and joy rise within him as he rests in Your promises.

We pray for protection over his heart and mind, that he would remain steadfast in faith and faithfulness. Guard him from temptation, Lord, and draw him ever closer to You. Let his love for You and his family grow deeper each day, and may he find his comfort and strength in Your presence alone.

Grant him restful sleep, Father, that his body may be refreshed and his mind renewed. We ask for more years together as a family, filled with Your purpose and peace. May their days be numbered with wisdom, and may they continue to declare Your strength to the next generation.

Lord, we trust in Your will and Your timing. Strengthen this sister as she stands in faith for her husband, and let them both experience the depth of Your love and faithfulness. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
