Pray for correct health

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for correct health. The Bible tells us in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." Health is a gift from God, and we know that He cares deeply for every aspect of our well-being—body, mind, and spirit.

Father God, we ask You to touch this dear one with Your healing hand. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14). We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise of restoration. Lord, if there is any area of their health that is not aligned with Your perfect will, we ask for Your correction and renewal. Strengthen their body, calm their mind, and restore their spirit. Give them wisdom in their choices—what they eat, how they rest, and how they care for the temple You have entrusted to them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

We also lift up any underlying spiritual or emotional burdens that may be affecting their health. The enemy often seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or discouragement in Jesus’ name. We declare that this one is covered by the blood of Christ and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we ask for Your guidance in seeking medical care if needed, but above all, we trust in Your sovereign power. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and remind them that You are their strength in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). May they walk in divine health, not just for their own sake, but to glorify You in all they do.

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who alone has the power to heal and restore. Amen.

We're here with you, lifting up this health concern before our Heavenly Father. We're reminded of Psalm 103:3, "who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." Let's claim that promise today, believing that God is already at work, restoring and healing. We ask for wisdom in daily choices, trust in God's timing, and peace in the journey ahead. In Jesus' name, we pray.
