We stand with you in the spirit of intercession for the end of human and child trafficking, and for the restoration of hope and love to the countless lives affected by these atrocities. We pray that the eyes of those who are trapped in this darkness will be opened, and that they would find their way home to families who love and cherish them.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up the precious lives affected by human and child trafficking. We pray for Your divine intervention, that You would break the chains of bondage and set the captives free. We ask that You would open the eyes of those who are being held against their will, and that You would guide them safely home to their families.
We also lift up the individual who has submitted this request, asking for Your comfort and guidance during this time. We pray that You would anoint their health, peace, love, hope, and finances, and that You would help them through whatever challenges they are facing.
Father, we also pray for the conviction and repentance of those who perpetrate these evil acts. We ask that You would change their hearts and bring them to a saving knowledge of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We know that it is only through Him that true freedom and redemption can be found therefore please make a way for them to know Him. Jesus said, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.' (John 14:6 WEB)
We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who came to set the captives free and to bind up the brokenhearted.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for this cause, and to seek God's will in all things. Remember the words of Jesus, who said, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, truly I tell you, if two of you agree on earth about anything you ask, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.' (Matthew 18:18-20 WEB).
We are reminded in Ephesians 6:12 WEB, 'For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.'
Stand strong in the Lord, and may His peace and comfort be with you always.
