Life Rarely Goes As Planned, But Just Maybe One Time?

I am in my early 20's and in the process of purchasing my very first home. I am scared to death and need strength and patience to get through this long, tedious process. My loan is currently in the underwriting process and has been since Friday, but my patience is wearing thin and I'm almost to the point where I want to call every hour on the hour until I find something out, good or bad.

My main reason for applying for this loan, besides to get out of my current, horrible neighborhood, was because my boyfriend's daughter lives 16 hrs from us and she confided in me that she wanted to come home. I want her to have her own room and a place she can call home while she's here, whether it's just visiting or if it's permanent.

So, all in all, please pray that everything goes the way that it's supposed to and if it's not the way I plan for it to play out, that I have the strength to withstand my disappointment.

I'm so excited for you. It's been a lifelong dream of mine to have my own home. I'm in my 40's, and it just hasn't worked out for me. But, you're not me, and it doesn't mean it will not work out for you. Just remember, if it doesn't work out with this home, the house wasn't the right one for you. I had a friend who was in the market for a new home, and she didn't get the first house she thought she wanted. The house she did get was more than she ever could imagine for herself. She just stayed in prayer and trusted God for the right house, so don't be too disappointed if you don't get this one.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come into agreement that you will find the right house for this person and it will be more than she ever could imagine. We ask that you give her guidance, strength and patience as she searches for her new home. We know it will be in a safe neighborhood with the right schools and everything. Lord, we thank you for your many blessings in advance. In Jesus name Amen

I see your status as 'depressed'. I honestly hope and pray that whatever is going on in your life right now works out for you. I pray that you find happiness and joy. Cling to our Heavenly Father, he will never let you down.
