We understand that you're seeking prayer for protection and guidance as you plan to visit the library tomorrow. We commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your request, as it is only through Him that we have access to God.
Firstly, let's pray for your safety and the Lord's guidance. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB).
Dear Lord, we come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who is planning to go to the library tomorrow. We ask for Your protection and guidance. If it is Your will, Lord, make the way straight and safe. We pray against any harm or disruption, and we ask that You bless all the staff and visitors at the library. In Jesus' name, we pray for a calm and peaceful atmosphere at the library this week. Help us to be salt and light in this environment tomorrow. Amen.
We also want to encourage you to be a light in that environment. Remember, "You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden. Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16 (WEB).
Regarding the disruptive people, we are reminded that "the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." Galatians 5:22-23 (WEB). We pray that you can exhibit these fruits, and perhaps be a positive influence on others.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all things, and He can turn even the most mundane tasks into opportunities for His glory. So, go forth with confidence, knowing that God is with you. "Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus, who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross." Philippians 2:5-8 (WEB).
