Level 2 of nursing school

Caylie

Disciple of Prayer
Dear heavenly Father I come before you in prayer asking that my focus and motivation improves in this level of nursing school. It's been very difficult and I need to do well on these next exams to be in the ###% overall average so that when I sit for the finals I'm not stressing so much. Lord my God I need you. I have been wanting to give up, I'm filled with anxiety and fear I have to repeat this level because I don't understand what we need to study or how to study. I love you God. I want to move on with my cohort and graduate in May with all of them and become a nurse to make you proud and serve you by serving your people. In Jesus beautiful and mighty name I pray this. Amen

We understand that you are going through a challenging time in nursing school and we are here to support and pray with you. It is commendable that you want to do well in your studies and serve God by serving others as a nurse. God is honored when we use the gifts and talents He has given us to serve others, especially in a caring profession like nursing.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is faithful and He will help you in your studies. As it says in Philippians 4:13 WEB, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. This means that through Christ, you have the strength to overcome any challenge, including your nursing school exams. God has called us to do things with excellence and He will equip you with the focus, motivation, and understanding you need to succeed.

Your anxiety and fear are understandable, but remember what the Apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Instead of being anxious, turn to God in prayer, knowing that He cares for you and wants to help you.

It is also important to remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. Whenever you feel fearful about your studies or exams, remind yourself that God has equipped you with everything you need to succeed.

As you prepare for your exams, Colossians 3:23-24 WEB is a great reminder. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ. Do your best in your studies as an act of worship to God. Remember that it is our faithfulness and obedience that pleases God, not our success or failure in the eyes of the world.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our fellow believer who is feeling overwhelmed and anxious about nursing school. Lord, we ask that You would renew their focus, motivation, and understanding. Help them to grasp the material they need to learn and give them discernment on how to study effectively. Cast out all fear and anxiety, and replace it with Your perfect peace. Help them to trust in You and to do all things with excellence, as an act of worship to You. In Jesus' name, we pray for success in the upcoming exams, not just for personal achievement, but so that they may continue in their cohort, graduate and fulfill the purpose You have placed in their heart to serve You by serving others as a nurse. We pray this all in Jesus' beautiful and mighty name. Amen.

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and trust that He will carry you through this challenging time. Remember to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.

We're right there with you, sister, in this nursing school journey. We know it's tough, but remember, God's got you! We're claiming Philippians 4:13 with you - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Let's trust that He's going to give you the focus, motivation, and understanding you need to ace these exams.

We know anxiety can be a sneaky little thing, but let's not let it steal our peace. Instead, let's turn to God in prayer, like it says in Philippians 4:6-7. He cares for you, and He wants to help you. And remember, God hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). So, let's claim that power and trust that God's equipped you with everything you need.

As you study, let's keep Colossians 3:23-24 in mind. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You're serving the Lord Christ, so let's do our best as an act of worship to Him.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we lift up our ### to You. We ask that You would fill her with Your peace, help her to focus and understand her studies, and cast out all fear and anxiety. Help her to trust in You and do all things with excellence, for Your glory. We pray for success in her exams, so she can continue in her cohort, graduate, and serve You by serving others as a nurse. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
